These Work
- Pros: These all work, no coasters. They all play back in all my machines as well. Good recommendations on this site made me try them, as over the years I'd buy whatever was on sale in the office supply store (which doesn't seem that often anymore with DVD+R DL media). I use them for video, not data, BTW.
- Cons: None. Newegg's price is typically better than local store's sale price on heir off-brand, inferior product.
- Other Thoughts: I will keep buying these. I'll look for the best cost/disc, but stick with this brand from here on.
Flawless!
- Pros: I have 2 discs left in my second spindle and not a single error so far, all have worked perfectly. Although its a slow burn the success rate makes that not a concern at all considering the cost for DL discs.
- Cons: None not a single coaster.
- Other Thoughts: I have been using mine to back up my 360 games following some strict instructions on burn settings and it has been perfect. I've been extremely impressed by these discs.
You save a little getting two spindles at once, I believe the shipping is the same for getting two spindles versus one at a time.
Pretty good media
- Pros: Seems to be quality media
- Cons: Price is a little high and I actually have had quite a few fail verification in Roxio on my Vista x64 Dell. I have since turned off verification since it takes too long and I have had perfect playability
- Other Thoughts: I'll probably stick with these until someone convinces me otherwise. I'm not even sure the ones that failed verification were coasters; I never really tried them. Actually I think I did try one or two and if I recall correctly they played fine but I guess I was concerned with content elsewhere on the disc so I always threw them out. I've since turned off verification entirely and that seems to be working out for me.
