Disk Surface Hell

Pros: Write ok at 16x

Cons: Disk surface is the worst I have ever seen. Not only is their name all ofer the disk, it is embossed as well. You must hold the disk at an angle to read anything written on the disk with a sharpie. They must own a label company or have a real idiot as the designer. If you want to write on disk with a marker STAY AWAY

Pros: 1st time user of these, I must say they are pretty good. I always get the most pricey media but giving these a try was well worth the time and effort. I've burned TAO DAO, added, did all the speed burns, even a 16x of a iso 4.7gb game and everything seems to be fine.

Cons: When I tried a over burn tho, (4.5gb) TAO, it failed. "The track is readable up to the failure point only" at the end of the disk, but the disk is readable till the end of data.

Other Thoughts: I reckon these will do for normal storage of just about everything you have. But if it's very important data, make sure you stay within the 4.37gb standard or you'll be sorry for sure. Ahh, all in all, these work very well. So, pick up a pack today and you will see they are actually good to go man !
