The INOi HD-360C external enclosure features support for drives of over 300 GB capacity, for carrying all the data you need, and a combination of IEEE 1394 (Firewire) and USB external interface ports for high-speed data transfer from your 3.5" IDE hard disk. It has an elementary design that makes it exceedingly user-friendly for effortless handling. Whisper quiet, it has no fans to disturb your concentration.
Cooling is provided by using the sleek casing as a heat sink and radiator. Plug-and-play operations and hotswapping ensure your data can move when you do! The INOi HD-360C external enclosure is compact and elegant, with modest dimensions of 7.8" x 4.8" x 2.4" inches, making it convenient for carrying it wherever you need.

Great enclosure
- Pros: Small, compact, not too heavy. Blue LED matches my pc, power switch gives you control. It has 2 firewire for daisy chaining as well as USB 2.0.
- Cons: You have to unscrew the bottem and back to get drive out. But thats not really a con.
- Other Thoughts: I got the exact same drive pictured, but of the INoi brand. Same case that they use in their external HDD series but without a drive.
works briefly, then fails
- Pros: Firewire, USB interfaces. Aluminum case. Blue LED looks cool.
The enclosure's failure didn't corrupt my hard drive.
- Cons: I got a bad unit. Drive works initially but fails within minutes requiring a power cycle of enclosure. Firewire or USB, same problem. RMA'd back to Newegg for a refund.
- Other Thoughts: Newegg's RMA service was very easy to use. Thanks!
I used this enclosure with a 40 GB Western Digital drive that works fine when used internally.

Eggcellent product!!
- Pros: You get what you paid for. Some people say that the product is very loud, but I find it to be just perfect. It comes with all the cables you need and even a on/off switch..
- Cons: None so far
- Other Thoughts: I hope to receive my mail in rebate soon, otherwise I'll be very dissapointed.
No firewire
- Pros: Keeps cool. Nice construction.
- Cons: No firewire!
- Other Thoughts: I bought this enclosure for the choice of usb and firewire but the firewire doesn't work.
Great enclosure, silent, reliable
- Pros: This enclosure it has served me very well for over a year. It's a winner!
- Reliable for extended periods of use.
- Silent operation; no fan. Only noise is the dampened sound of the hard drive itself.
- Runs cool, considering there's no fan. I've never had a drive overheat in this enclosure, even when transferring large amounts of data in a very warm room.
- Dual interface, USB + firewire.
- Power switch. I hate enclosures that automatically power on when plugged in.
- Subdued appearance with an attractive blue power/activity indicator bar. I don't like garish or shiny, and this enclosure is not.
- Cons: - Connecting this enclosure via firewire only worked for me once or twice, but no more. It could be my motherboard's fault; I'm not sure. I just use USB.
- Possible con: Can only be stood upright. The enclosure is not designed to lay flat.
- Other Thoughts: Although this enclosure has worked well for me, the fact that it contains a full-size 3.5" HD and thus requires an AC adapter is moderately inconvenient. In the future, I plan to use a "bus-powered" 2.5" enclosure, if I can find a good one.
