The black mirrored case of the Quantum RX-700 PSU from Raidmax hides the power within. The 700W PSU has four +12V rails each delivering 18A (Max) of power making sure all your needs are covered. The tight black mesh minimizes air resistance around the cables and makes routing the cables easier. There are 6 SATA connectors, perfect for setting up your raid array without having to use splitters. The NVIDIA SLI ready PSU has two 6+2 pin PCIe connectors for your high end video cards.
This PSU has APFC circuitry and runs at up to 85% efficiency. A bottom mounted 120mm fan keeps things cool with minimal radiated noise. The 20+4 main power connector and the 4 and 8 pin 12v power connectors make this PSU a great choice for all modern motherboards.
Pros: Bought this for my son's sli system and not dissappointed. Tons of sata connectors 6 each. Also had 6-8 pin connectors for expensive video cards. We will lsi this with 2 8800 msi gts cards with a phenom 9600. The fan is quiet and the active pfc was a must have. This is going into a Katana raidmax case.
Cons: None, I've heard whining over modular but truly a few zip strips takes care of that really.
Other Thoughts: Anyone wanting a top psu needs active pfc and this has quad rails!

Powerfull and stabile

Pros: ATX 2.2 standard/EPS12V and close to 85% efficiency. It really does the job. I was afraid off bundling this psu up on my Asus P5N-D SLI board with 2 8800 GTS's (G92-512mb)and an older Pentium D EE 955, but wow, it handles it flawlessly. OCing the proc to 4.52 Ghz, HT, PC6400 oced to 858MHZ with 4-4-4-12 2.05 volts. It's quiet and fearless. Running 2x120mm,3x80mm,2x06mm, 2 IDE DVD roms, and 2 sata's.
Cons: Was a little hesitant on this PSU, little for reviews, typical Raidmax reputation, but so fart I've stressed it at 102 hrs. And it's ticking like a Swedish clock. So, my complaint comes here, NO MODULAR cabling. That's basically it, besides only having 18 amps through each rail, it is combined to 64 amps. But you will really get the efficiency output of 58 amps.
Other Thoughts: An led would be nice, but not necessary, and the mobo can see the RPM of the PSU's 120mm quiet fan.

3) More than enough connectors for my future computer upgrades
4) Plenty of length to the cables for my large tower
Cons: 1) concerning electrical buzz when the power supply was switched on
Other Thoughts: 1) the bulk of the cable's is large and i would not think suitable for a small or average size tower (the bulk of the wires twist tied together on arrival was about 11''x 4''x 3'')
2) I would have given this item 5 stars if i did not hear a electrical buzz and as long as the electrical buzz is not my power supply slowly burning out i will be very satisfied

Pros: Cheap. Works great when it works.
Cons: Recently the psu started having trouble. i contacted raidmax RMA department and i must request rma. knowing the the psu was bad they still tried telling me it was my system and having me do everything i already tried. we finally tested the psu with a PSU tester we bought here from newegg. one of the rails went out and was causing my system to crash during game play. raidmax took 4 days to finally do something about my warranty. when my video card went out the company didnt question me they took care of it immediately. im not impressed with raidmax tech support or rma support. next time im going with antec.
