The Thermaltake TR2 W0070 430W Power Supply is a solid, contemproary design that helps saves power. It has dual 80 mm fans that increase air supply within the enclosure, with one at the front for intake ("In goes the good air . . ."), and one in the back ("Out goes the bad air . . .") This increases overall airflow within the Power Supply Enclosure removing excess heat from the chassis, simultaneously.
Intelligent cable management aids airflow by sleeving together multiple cables, opening up the airflow. This allows your W0070 to run at its most efficient levels for long durations with decent power consumption. The power supply comes with one Main connector (20 + 4 pin), one 12V (P4), one PCI-E, nine peripheral, two SATA, and two Floppy connectors, which will enable you to attach multiple drives/cards to your motherboard without worrying about your PSU.
With compliance with ATX12Vv2.2/EPS12V and its universal input (full range) capability, your Thermaltake TR2 W0070 430W Power Supply can be used in a variety of situations (wherein input voltages may vary or wherein you may change your motherboard). This is a solid, powerful PSU ready to run whatever you may plug into it.

Just Want to point out
- Pros: Price
- Cons: 12V rail only has 18A.
Gain an understanding of what rails are and how they work before buying this psu. Read below
- Other Thoughts: Just want to point out to potential buyers and those who complained regarding the PSU being junk, and stating they have "high understanding... NOT" U gotta understand that 430W doesn't mean much. You have to look at the load on each rail, especially the 12V one. Your CPU, your hard drives, your video card, all run on the 12V rail. if you have a powerful videocard, a powerful CPU and many Hard drives and optical drives you should look for a PSU with more Amps on the 12V rail. Possibly a PSU with 2 12V rails for about 30A combined. For a workstation, or less powerful machine this PSU should be great!
Outstanding value, but limited expansion options
- Pros: Great value for the dollar. Extremely quiet. 20+4 mobo power plug for greater compatability. SATA power as well as standard molex. Power connectors are long.
- Cons: 18A on a single +12V rail. The +12 rail becomes critical for any power users or those systems requiring more HDs, CD/DVDs, and water cooling systems. My system is a Barton 2500 at stock speeds plugged into the aging but reliable ASUS A7N8X Deluxe v2.0 BFG 6800 GS video, SoundBlaster Audigy 2, 2GB Corsair XMS, 1 x PATA Maxtor DiamondMax 9 120GB, 2 x SATA Maxtor DiamondMax 9 in RAID 0, 3.5 floppy, 1 x Lite-On CDRW/DVD-ROM Combo, 1 X Plextor 740A DVD-RW, and Kingwin AWC-1 liquid cooling system. This configuration was the "break-point" for this PS. While cool, system would spin up and run flawlessly, however as the PSU warmed (thereby degrading efficiency) the system would begin to suffer the various errors/problems assocaited with a PSU, including spontaneous reboots, video memory artifacing, corrupted HD reads/writes, etc. Upon disconnecting optical drives, system stabilized and ran flawlessly.
- Other Thoughts: Outstanding power supply if you are building a standard configuration workstation. Keep an eye on your +12 rail load and you'll have no problems.

Only one sata?
- Pros: Works fine
- Cons: Only one (dual) SATA connector! If you have SATA hard drive and DVD media you'll have to use a molex to sata adapter.
Love it!
- Pros: Decent PSU, it's SILENT. Cables have jackets to hold the wires together. I just LOVE the tabs on the molex connectors- all you do to unplug them is squeeze and the plug pops out.
- Cons: Cables seemed a bit too long for me, but I have plenty of empty spots in my case to hide them in.
- Other Thoughts: Good buy.
Great PSU
- Pros: Well made. Inexpensive. Plenty of long sheathed cables. Great warranty!
- Cons: None
