The 650W ST65ZF from Silverstone provides the power you need for your most intense applications. It can deliver the full 650W continuously at over 80% efficiency. There are four +12V rails for an extremely well balanced power load. The auto-switching input can handle all common voltages so all you have to do is plug it in.
The cables are all sheathed to de-clutter the inside of the case, enhancing airflow. The PSU is ready for extreme configurations with 3x6-pin PCIe connectors. There are also 4 SATA and 6 Molex connectors.
The efficient internal layout only needs 1x80mm fan for cooling. This keeps the noise to a minimum, and it means more power can go to running your system. The system of your dreams needs power; the ST65ZF delivers.

Great price, great performance -- what else you need?
- Pros: -Quiet, considering other PS's
-Great quality (opened it up which voided my warranty, though the tolerances of the components used are very tight - high quality which should ensure years of operation assuming one uses a surge protector) -650W CONTINUOUS -- there IS a difference. Many manufacturers advertise "650W power supply" -- but dont bother telling you that is the MAX wattage rating. 650 Watts of continuous power will ensure your system running (for example) a AMD 4400X2, two 7800GTX 512MB's, etc. will run without so much as a hitch!
- Cons: Heavy -- BUT, this is a pro, since a power supply's weight DOES matter in most cases, as it usually indicates the size of the stepping transformer used, which a heavy transformer means more ferrous core and more windings -- tranlated -- MORE continuous wattage! So, if you have a 600W power supply that is very light, chances are the "600W" advertised power supply is probably 600 Watts MAXIMUM.
A very stable PSU
- Pros: I first did some research on this PSU after narrowing the choices of what I wanted to power my ASUS A8N-SLI Premium. I wanted something that wasn't too expensive but supplied enough power for future upgrades (new nvidia SLI configurations etc). I would go with a P&C PSU if I had the money for overkill, but Silverstone has produced an excellent PSU, sure it isn't as fancy as a modular PSU, but it supplies enough connections and the actual voltage numbers have been stellar.
Vcore at 1.36v +3.3 reading as 3.31v +5.0 reading a stable 5.03v +12.0 reading 12.16.
This really is a stellar PSU - powering my setup just perfectly: Asus A8N-SLI Premium AMD 4800+ Dual Core 3Gb Ram (you have to tweak the timings in the BIOS to get the Ram to read properly if you are using all the banks - but this is an issue with Asus' board) Sony DVD Drive LiteOn DVD RW 2x WD2000JS 200GB Sata II 7800GTX (256mb) Sli configuration Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS Windows XP Professional SP2.
- Cons: Only one fan - and like many it is loud, though from my previous PSU experiences (Such as Antec's TruePower series), it isn't bad at all considering. The default warranty should be extended, matching those of competitors.
- Other Thoughts: The one thing that you always need to make sure of - when building a computer - is that you have a realible PSU that is able to give you a stable system for today as well as the future.
