Taking the modular power supply design to the limit, the ST60F combines a core based on the highly acclaimed Zeus ST65ZF and a quiet running 120mm fan to create a truly fantastic package. With the highest number of cables of any power supplies in its class, this 600 watt power supply also has a new environmentally friendly design. SLI ready, it's proofed against the next couple of generations of new system tech,
A 120 mm, sleeve bearing fan ensures effective cooling and noise reduction. It also features Universal Input, which along with ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V compliancy ensures that you can use it in a variety of situations and almost everywhere, without worrying about input voltages. Your SST-ST60F is designed to last, with its MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of 100,000+ hours.
Industrial grade components ensure stable and unflappable output, and protection against power and voltage surges. It comes with one Main connector (20 + 4 pin), one 12V (P4), one 12V (8pin), one Floppy, one AUX power, four peripheral, two PCI-E, and SATA connectors. It also sports four next generation +12V rails (12V1, 12V2, 12V3, 12V4), which allow support for the most high-end of PC systems. This PSU is more than ready to power whatever it finds in your system!
Pros: This is a great modular supply with stable power and is very quiet. It makes it easy to keep a clean wiring job in a pretty new case by only using the connectors you need. All connectors are sleeved (very nice) and the power supply has a great fit and finish. I am generally very finicky, and it meets all my needs very well. It supports my:
Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego Asus A8N-SLI-Premium 2 gig Corsair XMS EVGA 7800 GTX w/ ACS 2X WD SE162500KS Raid 0 ABS Stealth ATX Case
Cons: As previous reviews have said, you need to be extra careful when you use the 4 pin IDE connectors. After reading the previous reviews, I was very faithful and used a DMM to check every pin on the power supply to make sure the voltage was correct. The potential issue is not in the supply or the fact that the modular connectors are assembled incorrectly - but is in the fact that the keying on the plastic molded 4 pin IDE Molex connectors does not prevent them from being plugged in backwards. The result is that you reverse the +5 & +12 volts on your IDE devices. I can attest that DVD burners cannot survive this mistake!!!
Other Thoughts: With that said, I would still recomend this supply. I would just recommend paying attention to the direction of the 4 pin IDE molex connectors more! This product would have easily been 5 eggs without this issue.
And as always, Newegg service & shipping is the best. Who else could get me a replacement DVD burner in 2 days?! :)

Pros: This is by far the best power supply that I have ever used in a system build(this would be #45). Dont listen to these cty babies that dont know what they are doing this thing puts out contious 600watt and is dead on with the volts, I found very little fluctuation when i tested mine for stability. I love modulat sleeved cables works double time to help system airflow.
Cons: There are absolutley no cons of any sort with this power supply nothing but excellent things to say. from the sleeved cables to the black screws.
Other Thoughts: For my system i plugged this into a asus sli premimum with a 3700+ oced to 2.79Ghz with 2gig of ddr550 xms ram with two 7900gts a xfi XM raptor x 150gig 10krpm plextor 18xdvd burner. Dont hesititate every review site i went to came out with positive results make this your final psu purchase for a long time. Enjoy

Cons: well my fan has started to make a noise. i.e. the bearing has gone out. have not try to get a rma yet. need to replace the PS before i have to send it off and not have one for a month. the fan is a 135 mm one, and newegg does not carry one. if they did i would replace it. ! but replacing anything in a PS is should not to be done by the untrained ! the sticker " danger high voltage " does mean it
Other Thoughts: well, i just wounder if the other 2 sst will die in the next 2-5 months also. is this a trend ? i do not want to find out. will not buy a SS again

Pros: Modular design.
Cons: Makes hissing noise.
Died exactly after 1 year of use. Have to pay shipping costs to send it for repairs. Won't cross-ship.
Other Thoughts: This PSU is way overpriced for what you get.

Pros: QUIET, cabling is intelligent and easy to manage for maximizing air flow inside case. First time buying something from Silverstone other than fans, I am very impressed. It appears Silverstone makes excellence a priority in all their products.
Cons: Zero
Other Thoughts: The concept of the 24 pin being modular was a major plus and along with its positioning on the side of the power supply closest to the back wall of the computer case was a major in my decision to try this product, now that I have it, I am totally satisfied.
