3 out of 5 eggsNot fanless

Pros: Nice shielded cables, beautiful Aluminum case, LCD display w/volts, watts and temp, And leds for cable connectivity.

Cons: HAS a fan that is loud when it runs. Larger than atx standard, external heat sink is fragile and does not fit all cases due to shield. LCD display is on back of unit.

Other Thoughts: sold as a fanless with heat pipe cooling fin external out the back. This has a 40 mm fam internal that in my case never stops. It goes change speed under load. External heat sink is to large for most case PS cut outs. is also extra long. beware. seems units are different depending in which worker made it.

4 out of 5 eggsHard to Install

Pros: Silent, heat pipe technology, very good efficiency >90%, energy saver, active PFC, guaranteed 400W under max load

Cons: Very hard to install, not designed to accurately fit most cases. 2mm too wide.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good PSU. took alot of effort to get it to fit Gigabyte 3D Aurorara Case!!!!!

4 out of 5 eggsA very nice PS

Pros: Solid output, modular, very quiet, no buzzing or anything

Cons: mine came obviosuly used and returned, the cables were damaged and the screw holes were stripped.
I guess even newegg makes mistakes :P

Other Thoughts: This is the best of the tru silent supplies I have seend because of it 's light and sturdy aluminum housing that covers every bid of cooling fin.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat powersupply

Pros: totally silent, big lcd, steady power

Cons: lcd is not viewable from an angle

Other Thoughts: other than the lcd not being viewable except from straight on its great. I have been using this in a system for about 4 months and its rock solid.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Comments: You know scott, I dont know what you are talking about but I have delt with XG's customer service and support for about 5 years now and I have NEVER had a problem with getting my rebate or rma's taken care of. Anyways, I just bought this power supply and it works like a charm. It is as quiet as it claims and through my voltage tests delivers a steady supply of power to my system with it's active PFC feature. I live in an area with really unsteady power and it really kills the performance of my computer. After I bought this power supply, it was like night and day with my gaming. Thanks XG!

5 out of 5 eggsUltra Silent!

Comments: I just bought one of these to install in my XG Dragon case that I just bought. It was a little snug fitting but after a good push, it went right in. When I first turned it on it was so quiet I thought it was off. I wanted to see how well the fan worked so I ran Half Life 2 on it for a while. At first I didnt think that it would turn on, but when I put my hand on the back I noticed that it was on without me even knowing it! It had turned on at a very low rpm and I still could not hear it. I could not be happier with the power supply and was worth every cent!

1 out of 5 eggsMy 7800SLI & FX POPPED! >:I

Comments: I slapped one of these psu's in my 7800SLI system and it popped after about 1hr into my CounterStrike. Made me angry and when I tried to get a solution to replacing my FX and video cards, MGE shinned me away, lifetime warranty is a joke.

5 out of 5 eggsdisappointed

Comments: This PS was too wide for my Lian-Li case, requiring me to chisel off 2 rivets to squeeze it in there. Also, the cables included were not what I was expecting given the price of this item. The round covers are just cut to length with no heat shrink covering, so the metal braid sticks out like an old tire and will poke you if you're not careful. Power-wise it's fine, but as soon as I save enough to buy an Axxxc this thing's going on online auction

3 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Doesn't fit in the lian0li pc-6x cases. The back piece that covers the copper radiator is EXTREMELY fragile. two pieces were broken just out of the box so I ended up taking the whole shield off. Other then that it does it's job.
