Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Visually pleasing (5/5), looked well built (4/5). Worked fine for my all my E8400 needs (4/5).
Cons: Died 10 months in (1/5). Switched on power and it just didn't turn on one day. Only had E8400, 2 sata, 1 dvd, 4GB ram, and a 7600 hooked to it. No smells or any other visual indication to as what might be wrong. I will stick to buying PSUs with 3-5 year warranties instead of Rosewill's 1-year.
Other Thoughts: I made the review for the RP-650-2 here because the item was deactivated and the RP-550-2 is the closest similar PSU in the series. I called up Newegg for an RMA because my bill stated 1-year replacement by Newegg (not like today where it is 30-day replacement). It was cheaper for them to refund than replace, so that's what I am supposed to get.

Pros: Pretty lights, worked great while it worked.
Cons: Died in a year of use.
Other Thoughts: Bought it two years ago as a spare, started using it early this year and now it has died. RMA back to newegg was quick and they said they'll send out a replacement in 2-3 days!

High pitched whine..

Pros: Looks nice, I've always trusted the brand.
Cons: When connected to the ATX motherboard it makes a high pitched whine and the computer will not boot. When connected to a power supply tester the power comes on just fine and there is no high pitched noise. This is a brand new system and I have been unable to even start it. At first I thought it was the M/B and I replaced it RMA and this is the second motherboard.
Other Thoughts: I've tried pretty much everything to get it up and running and it has me stumped. The power supply tester shows everything has the correct wattage. I'll prob try a different psu and see if that works.
