5 out of 5 eggsvery nice!!!

Pros: dual rails, has just about every connector you will ever need.quite.going to buy more of these before there gone.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: you other people are nuts if you think this is a bad power supply.this power supply has more power on the rails than most 600 watt power supplies do.look at the specs.and for this price!people dont think about it; buy it, its a great power supply.I have used rosewill power supplies for years and never had a problem.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU for the $, stills works well after almost 2 years!

Pros: I've been using this PSU for almost 2 years and just replaced it to get a more powerful unit. It worked great the entire time (still does as my backup), stays cool, and is very quiet. It also has 2x 12v rails (more scarce when I got this) and lots of connectors, probably more than you'll ever need.

Cons: Not modular which leaves a mess inside your case. Not active PFC. I recommend buying active PFC, they were more expensive and less available when I bought this PSU. Only a 12cm fan when some are coming with a 14cm fan now. However it cools itself fine as is.

Other Thoughts: Get one with active PFC. I paid one-zero-five for my new Thermaltake Purepower RX 600w after rebate but it has active PFC, modular cabling and is very well made. I recommend buying active PFC and modular but modular is not needed and you will pay a premium for it. **** When I bought this, active pfc PSU's were more expensive and harder to find. If this had active PFC I would give it a 5egg. Active PFC is currently more available and a feature I strongly recommend going with.

1 out of 5 eggsThese are VERY BAD

Pros: dual rail 12 volt, worked ok at first.

Cons: Have used four and 14 to 15 months they all have failed. 2 on them hiss which usually means bad caps so maybe I can replace. These are junk and should be avoided like the plague.

Other Thoughts: Seems like it should be good given the hefty weight, 120mm fan, etc. but they are not. Like stated before, you get what you pay for. I've had to replace all of these and all 300 watt models too that I've used. Not a single 1 has lasted for 2 years. Thanks for nothing for under-rated components and a flawed design Rosewill! My Antec and other brands are still working.

5 out of 5 eggsStrong & Quiet

Pros: Plenty of connectors, dual +12v rails, both 4 and 8 pin CPU power connectors.

Cons: LOTS of connectors means LOTS & LOTS of wires to hide. It can be difficult to get the extras out of the way in a smaller case.

Other Thoughts: I'm very pleased with this PSU, good strong power on all the rails. I'd buy it again and recommend it to a friend...

4 out of 5 eggs2 years later...

Pros: Was a very good power supply, put up with bad humidity and temperatures for almost 2 years. Would trust Rosewill again in the future.

Cons: RIP after 2 years of abuse.

Other Thoughts: These units would probably last longer than mine did if kept in better conditions.

2 out of 5 eggsOverload?

Pros: Quiet

Cons: After a year of use it will no longer run for more than a few seconds before shutting off

Other Thoughts: This could be an overload issue. The +12V rails on this are rated at 16A and 17A each and the motherboard recommendation is 18A or more. I only noticed this after troubleshooting everything else - cause it seemed like the PS was shutting itself off automatically as if it thought there was a short or something. When I unplug the 8-pin LGA775 power and leave everything else plugged in (ATX, PCI-E, drives, etc) it runs fine and doesn't shut off. But as soon as you plug in the 8-pin LGA775 connector (which has 4-12V pairs) it runs for a sec or two, then there are some electrical-like noises from the PS and then it shuts off. I thought maybe my CPU got fried or maybe it was overheating cause of bad thermal grease but it works fine now with a new PS. I guess it's best to get a 500W or more PS for an LGA775 board.

2 out of 5 eggsDied after 14months

Pros: good price, quiet adjustible fan, new egg shipping.

Cons: like others have reported my pc would shut down just after booting to windows screen and after 2 days of trouble shooting I ended up trying spare psu. pc now runs great with 4 year old silverstone psu.

Other Thoughts: bought it due to it being one of few with 8pin 12v cable, should have just bought $2 4to8 pin cable like I just did. will avoid cheap psu's in future and stick with silverstone/antec/enermax.

2 out of 5 eggsProblems After 16 Months

Pros: Price was decent for a 450W PSU, and there were more than enough connectors for my needs.

Cons: Like other reviewers have indicated, this unit began to malfunction after only 16 months of ownership.

Other Thoughts: My computer started automatically shutting itself down halfway through boot sequence. Acted just like someone had literally pulled the power cord out. I could usually get it to boot, but it would require multiple tries. I spent a couple of days trying to trouble-shoot, and as soon as I replaced the PSU the problem went away. I am quite disappointed that this unit did not last longer, and doubt I would buy a Rosewill PSU again.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed after 18 months

Pros: Cheap Power Supply

Cons: Failed after 18 months. You get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Stay away. I will think twice about using Rosewill again.
