5 out of 5 eggsgood supply for cheap

Pros: This thing doesn't have one problem with it. I bought it to replace my 300watt junk that came with my case. The dual rail gives me a constant 12.23v even with my A64 overclocked. The 120mm fan has high, low, and auto settings though I never have seen it go above whisper quiet on the auto settings. It has about a mile of wire to work with for the full ATX cases and plenty of power for SLI even.

Cons: can't think of any

Other Thoughts: I got this cheap, I recommend you do too.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: TONS of connectors, more than 99% of us would ever need, and the cables are plenty long, without being ridiculous. Looks like good quality construction.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my first pc build to play Oblivion.

Nothing too fancy, but this psu is working great. I'm happy with my purchase. When buying a psu you don't wanna go cheap, but unless you're a hardcore gamer or rich, you don't need a really expensive one either. This psu fits the bill perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsBang for your Buck

Pros: Solid voltage from dual 12V rails and connectors galore make this a great power supply. 120mm fan keeps it nice and cool, too.

Cons: Could be quieter, but I'll take a great-cooling 120mm fan over a few dB in noise reduction. Almost has too many connectors, if that's possible. I've got half of them cable-tied away from everything.

Other Thoughts: Not a cheap power supply, but a great value on a steady and well-built unit.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Extremely versatile, nice assortment of connectors. I felt like I was taking a big chance by keeping this power supply when I added my second 7800gt in my machine for sli. Low and behold the voltages remain stable and rock solid in sli!
+12v=12.08
5V=5.00
+3.3=3.33
Also the fan has 3 settings. When I'm gaming I turn the fan on high and it drops my temps an extra degree or two.

Cons: Only the 24 pin connector is sleeved. It is not "sli certified", and has only one pcie connector. But what can you expect for 5O bucks?

Other Thoughts: MSI k8n sli mobo

5 out of 5 eggsNo frills PSU fits the bill

Pros: Decent voltages for a budget PSU
Braided cover on the main ATX line
Lines are just long enough and connectors are plentiful
New, 24-pin ATX connector
Big, quiet 120mm fan
Dedicated PCI-E line (no splitters!)
No ridiculous lights

Cons: None yet
Wish I could afford a modular line PSU so I could install only what I needed in my case (there's a value-line marketing idea!)

Other Thoughts: I originally got this to replace a 430W unit that I thought was flaking out on me whilst gaming on my new build, but it turned out it was a memory problem. I'm keeping this PSU anyway for the above pros.

The 12V rail is registering 12.16V in my BIOS, so I'm fine with that. It also has three fan settings, but I simply have it on the highest setting. I can't hear it over all my other components anyway.

The specs on the sticker are the same for Rosewill's higher priced models. Also good to see other reviewers powering 7800's with this PSU.

My Specs:
AMD Sempron 64 3400+
Abit NV8
1 GB Corsair XMS PC3200 DDR400 RAM
ATI X850XT
Creative Audigy 2 ZS
Rosewill RV500S-2 500W PSU

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the money

Pros: A great power supply to replace my lacking 350 watt Enermax. All rails are soild. The fan moves air well with little noise. Plenty of moltex and sata plugins.

Cons: Mine didn't come with mounting screws which isnt a big deal, but would have been nice.

4 out of 5 eggsLike it!!

Pros: Nice build, solid box, 120mm fan is quiet and cool on auto, keeps lighter, less customized systems stable enough.

Cons: A little loud on high, voltages vary between the 3 PS's I own.
