Gotta love this thing
- Pros: -Has lasted me since last November (11/08) with absolutely NO problems.
-Modular cables. Comes with plenty and the only things that arent are the graphics card 6-pin and the Motherboard 24-pin. - nice big fan to keep it chilly - again modular so BRILLIANT for clean looking cases.
- Cons: - The fan doesn't seem to do a whole lot with air-flow for the rest of the case so don't expect it to be a vent of any kind. But to be fair i haven't had any overheating problems with it so the fan must be doing its job :D It especially doesn't matter when you have a bottom mounted psu case like i do.
- Other Thoughts: Thermaltake V9 Black edition
Q6600 quad O.C. to 3.2 Ghz Arctic cooling freezer7 pro to keep it chilly Asus P5Q3 Mobo 2gb OCZ Reaper DDR3/2gb OCZ Platinum DDR3 XFX ATI Redeon 4870 1gb edition
- Pros: Easy install of unit and connectors, best I have seen as far as price. Plenty of connectors to run anything you want.
- Cons: The unit needs to have the exhaust fan pulling from the vent on top of the case, instead it sucks from the case and runs very warm.
- Other Thoughts: Good buy, I would buy another, but I have no where to put it at the moment!
Xclio Power
- Pros: I read most of the reviews for this power supply before purchasing. I was a little worried its durability. I looked at the PS after it arrived and I am happy to say my worries are for nothing. The PS is finished in a high gloos finish. The 24 pin and primary 6 pin video power is NOT modular on my unit. The unit is not as heavy as some but it has large aluminium heat sinks inside. The only thing I was not pleased about was the clear plastic deflector inside the unit that is supposed to be there to help direst some of the cooling..its not really funtional.
- Cons: While routing some of the cabling in my new unit, some of the anti-chaffe wrap on the wire assemblies was coming undone, no real biggie.
