If you're going to swim with the sharks it's best to have one on your side. That shark is the Shark SP-585 PSU from Sigma. This 585W unit has dual +12V (20A and 18A) rails for stable, efficient power distribution. It comes with a full set of connectors including dual 6-pin PCIe, 4 SATA and 8 Molex so you can load your system however you want to.
Heat dissipation is a major concern and Sigma has it handled. The aluminum chassis has ribbed sides for extra surface area to aid in heat dissipation. Two 80mm fans pull air through the honeycomb mesh keeping the unit cool and running at maximum efficiency. Perhaps the most innovative part of the design is the Shark Fins at the bottom of the PSU that pull heat away from the internal components. With the PSU running cool you can enter that hot and heavy firefight without worrying about your equipment.

Pros: 2 12v rails running 18a and 20a gives me peace of mind to run my video card when I get one (soon). Turned on and has been running with no hiccups. The cables are mesh-wrapped, look AWESOME, very good plugs, the case acts like a heatsink and get blown off by 2 quasi-silent fans. Blue-led fans look cool and you can see it out the back of the case, but can bother some.
Cons: NO MANUAL INSIDE! This can be a turn-off for newbie PC builders. he box is pretty and all and has some info on it, BUT
All warranty has to go through NewEgg and no one (not even the manufacurer's website states how long it is warranted for)!! >_< Makes me nervous.....
Other Thoughts: I am impressed so far, but if I have any problems later (hope I don't), then I'll update. I was split between this one and a Rosewill, but mixed reaction to teh Rosewill gave me cold feet. The price, rebate, and free s/h with this one closed the deal and I got it.

Pros: Runs a highend gameing core2duo with 7900gtx and 2gb ran and 4 hard drives perfectly.
Cons: Power cord was standard thin,no big deal but could have been a better thicker cord for a 585 watt PSU.

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Design is nice, looked good through my side panel window, quiet and cool my case temp dropped about 3 degrees this after replacing a thermaltake which boasted optimum airflow for case, not knocking on thermaltake just stating the facts. Another thing I found interesting was that on my old power supply I would get a popping static sound every time I powered on my pc. All that gone after installing this bad boy. DID I MENTION PRICE! On sale with free shipping awesome NEWEGG ROCKS!
Cons: NONE AS OF YET.
Other Thoughts: Sleeving a plus along with all black connectors and blue led fans nice touch. Compliments my blue led fans inside my case.

Pros: Owned for a few week's now, replaced my old 420W. First of all, this thing is HEAVY! Built VERY tough, and looks neat. Seems like it runs pretty cool and the sleeved wiring looks great. No problems so far, it runs flawlessly.
Cons: If I had to put a con, it would be that the wires are pretty long, but nothing I can't hide with a little work.
Other Thoughts: Awesome PSU for the price.

Pros: Looks really nice...looks like quality. Really like all the cables and how they are laid out. Plenty of sata plugs and long cables.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: Took me about 30 minutes to swap out my old 480watt PSU with this one. Looks really nice in the case and I would highly recommend this PSU.
