Silverstone's Decathalon series PSUs are designed to deliver maximum power simply and efficiently. Instead of bumping up cost and complexity by using multiple +12V rails the DA750 has 1 extremely robust 60A rail. The Active PFC and >80% efficiency rating ensure that no power is wasted.
The power connectors are fully modular, letting you use only the connections you need. Any extra cables fit in a handy carry bag, so you can find them when you upgrade. The cables are all sheathed to de-clutter the inside of the case, enhancing airflow.
There is a 120mm fan on the bottom of the PSU to move extreme amounts of air to keep everything cool. The back panel is a honeycomb mesh broken only by a switch, and the power plug for virtually unrestricted airflow. Go ahead; build the system of your dreams, the DA750 can handle it.

Buzzing sound?
- Pros: Seems to be a solid power supply, cables are good, mostly quiet (see cons)
- Cons: I'm running an 8800 GTS 320mb video card and whenever I do anything graphic intensive (play BF2142, for example), I hear a very annoying and kind of loud buzzing sound coming from the power supply. It's not the fan in the power supply, it sounds more like a transformer or something. I don't think this is normal behavior...anyone else seen this before?
- Other Thoughts: Otherwise seems like a decent power supply. Could be I just got a bad one.

Manufacturer Response:Thank you very much for purchasing a SilverStone and for your feedback, if your power supply has excessive electrical noise, please contact: usasupport@silverstonetek.com
Efficiency!
- Pros: Single 12v @60A rail provides lots of clean, well-regulated power for starting up a disk-loaded system.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Not using any of the PCI-E cables, so the modular design really cleans things up. Efficiency, over my old supply, reduced system draw on the mains by at least 20% without any voltage sag on any supply bus.

- Pros: Have had 2 and worked perfect in 2 separate machines. Worked good for sli. 100% modular. Powered 2 gpu's, 1 150 gig raptor x, 2 1tb hard drives, quad core, and water cooling no problem. The single 12volt rail is solid.
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: powered 9800 gtx sli, and gtx295. one machine had a quad, other i7. ran without any problems. Only reason I got rid of it was I am not running 2 gtx 295 and it didint have enough power.
Solid
- Pros: Quiet (latest revision being sold doesn't have any whining issues)
Modular Single 12v Rail Active PFC
- Cons: price is a little high for wattage rating
Nice!
- Pros: 100% Modular
high amp rails
- Cons: Some of the plugs are really hard to pull out
Documentation - What documentation?
- Other Thoughts: This puppy will run all your power needs, unless you have a moster of a rig that should really be split into a server for the amount of harddrives, and a gaming rig with lots of juicy graphics. But, if you fancy a little of both, this is the way to go. Only time will tell whether this ps will stand the test of time.
