5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Plenty of connectors for a desktop office use computer. Have used these for over two years, no issues.

Cons: No issues. Very stable, good build quality.

Other Thoughts: Have over 15 in the field currently. Some over two years old with no issues yet.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: - Does its job.

Cons: - First one was DOA.... must of been a fluke. The replacement has been working fine for almost a year now.

Other Thoughts: The first one I got was DOA... the very first DOA i've ever had from Newegg (and i've been with them since 2002). The replacement process was easy and it came fast and worked. It has been in a Dell Optiplex 755 for almost a year now and still works great.

Don't really have much to say about it because I just stuck it the machine and gave it to the user. Didn't really see any problems or annoyances with it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent PSU for average+ users

Pros: Cheap & reliable
Fits almost all computers due to its ATX standard

Cons: Check the amount of connectors your going to need prior to looking at this unit. It has enough for the average user

Other Thoughts: I have purchased multiples of these 350W Antec units over the years and for 90% of my jobs or applications it has been perfect. The main thing I find with most situations id that the power supply is overkill and especially with the newer components drawing less & less power you dont need a 1000W PSU! One of the most handy things I ever purchased was a WattMeter to measure the draw on any particular machine. It opened my eyes to what was actually needed as a power supply for most machines. Of course if your running heavy configurations of things like graphics cards, this unit wont hold up but for a configuration of a mainboard, ram & basic cpu with an SSD and a hard drive, this is perfect!

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Cheap, Reliable

Cons: Cords are just long enough for the PC I was building. This could be a problem in other cases/builds.

Other Thoughts: I've had 1 bad Antec Basiq out of the 4 that I've purchased over time. They seem to hold up pretty well. But it has a very, very faint whine when the PC is turned off. You can only hear it if the room is silent though.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid for an office desktop environment. Never had on fail yet. I have over 10 of these in different machines for over 1 year now. No issues.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfactory

Pros: This is a very cheap PSU that is actually very reliable. It hasn't failed me yet, and it's even got the pro of being extremely quiet. I originally bought this as a stand-in until I got another PSU, but i like it enough now that I'm just going to keep it.

Cons: None other than the fact that it looks really bland.

2 out of 5 eggsBuyer Beware!

Pros: -Cheap (not a pro in relation to PSUs).

Cons: -Low Wattage

-Cables are not long enough for a bottom-mount PSU configuration

- Cables are unsheathed, and thusly look very cluttered and messy.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this PSU...the wattage rating is pretty low and as stated the cables are VERY short and unsheathed, leaving a messy and mediocre look for your build. Spend an extra 15-20 dollars and get a higher wattage and better build quality.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent low end psu, SHORT cables

Pros: It's a relatively decent low end psu.

Cons: The cables are incredibly short, not even long enough for the new fairly small mid tower atx cases I'm trying to use them in, short by about 4"-6" for bottom mount.

Other Thoughts: Wont work for my intended purpose, wish power supply companies would start listing their cable lengths.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks, I guess.

Pros: I was leery of buying another Antec due to the short lifetime
I had on another PSU some years ago, and had always used
Corsair since. However I just wanted a simple test PSU to
check out repairs and the price was pretty good on this one.
I used it to test a motherboard on a Dell E 510 and it did light
up the leds, and helped me confirm a dead motherboard, so
iy has served it's purpose so far.

Cons: Cables are short for some cases, no doubt, but one can't really
expect an inexpensive PSU like this to have long cables that
are sheathed in cable covering. For just test things, this PSU
works ok. I HAVE used an Antec Earth Works PSU in a clients
unit and with good success after modifying in and the case
a bit and it has worked really well.

I wouldn't use Antec in any of my own units as I have learned
my lesson from that one years back, but for testing simple
things, I guess they'll do for some apps.

Other Thoughts: Shipping was ho-hum from Newegg. I don't see or expect the
same quality service I did in the early mid 2000's, that WAS
pretty fast, but most ALL quality customer service from most
ALL companies is seriously lacking. That's one of the reasons
I've cut way down on buying items from Newegg and other
online sites.
