Rock solid power
- Pros: This PSU has one enormous 12v rail, and the cabling is not modular. (See other thoughts) The voltages are extremely tight under any load situation. The noise produced by this PSU is very tolerable, and it is almost silent under normal (non-gaming) loads.
- Cons: This PSU is longer than others in its class. My old Lian Li case had a blowhole that was partially covered by this beast. I have since bought a NZXT Adamas, which houses this PSU very nicely. Visit pcpowercooling.com for detailed specifications on this, and all other power supplies they make.
- Other Thoughts: If you do your research on modular cable, and multiple 12v rails, you will find that they are not that great. Underutilized rails "trap" power, while others (like the one supplying graphics cards) are over taxed. Modular cables just provide another place for a bad connection to occur. This PSU is great for anyone that wants to run a good gaming rig. My configuration is as follows. C2D 6400 OC'd, 2GB corsair mem, 8800 GTS 640MB, ASUS P5B-E,
Very Stable and Powerful
- Pros: The wires are all sleeved, which makes organization very easy. They also claim greater airflow because of it, which will keep your case cooler. This unit comes with a plethora of wires, giving you a connection for anything you install (except for dual floppy drives ... but who does that??). It has both a 4-pin and 8-pin cpu power connector, which will fit any motherboard. As it claims, its SLI certified, and has two dedicated PCI-E power lines. The PSU is also extremely stable - a friend of mine lived in an old Boston apartment with three other guys, and he had the only PC P&C. When the power would drop off or surge, every other computer but his would shutdown. This supply is *very* stable. Its also 610W, so even with SLI configurations, you should be running smoothly (they suggest 550W). SLI also calls for 38A (I think) on a 12V rail - this supplies 49A. You should have no problems at all. This unit is also extremely quiet, which is a big plus.
- Cons: The unit is long, so it took a bit of maneuvering to fit it into my case (actually, I had to remove a top-mounted USB/Firewire assembly, but that's more the case than the PSU). As I said before, there's only one floppy drive power line, so if you're planning on using two you'll have to look for another PSU. Also a warning, the main motherboard connector is a 24-pin, as opposed to 20+4, so you'll have trouble with older motherboards (I think all newer ones have 24 pin connections ...). For new builds though, this shouldn't be a problem, just keep it in mind.
- Other Thoughts: Obviously time will tell as to the stability of this power supply, but its been running perfectly so far and from the stories I've heard, I expect it'll run smoothly for years. Oh, and the black sleeves went along well with my motherboard's data cables ;)

PCP&C
- Pros: I've always used PCP&P PSUs since my first 350w, which still works.Every build has one of their PSUs in it, which are solid and deliver rated or above steady power.Plenty of cable lengthwise with plenty of connections.
- Cons: No cons.
- Other Thoughts: All the extra cable can be a pain but I've always found a way to bundle it out of the way. There's a reason PCP&P won't build modular(read it on their site)and please don't skimp when buying a PSU.
AMAZING
- Pros: This is a SOLID build PSU Quality is off the scale!
Handles Crossfire HD 4850's with ease
Comes with a case badge lol
- Cons: Expensive
- Other Thoughts: If you want quality I think this is the best I have seen.
- Pros: Very stable and plenty of power for highly overclocked Core i7 3800mhz 1.4v, gtx 260, 4 hard drives, 2 DVDs, 7 120mm fans, water cooling system, Plenty of power. Quiet, can't hear it over my other fans.
- Cons: Maximum wattage is actually underrated. It can supply more wattage than it is rated for!
- Other Thoughts: Also powered my old system without a hitch; athlon64 x2 3800+ 2800mhz 1.5v, 8800GT, 7 hard drives, dvd-rw, 9 120mm fans, never broke a sweat
