5 out of 5 eggsBought this years ago, still powers all my top end builds

Pros: I bought this in 06 for an AMD Athlon x2 3870 crossfire setup.

Currently It powers an Intel I7 950 @ 4.2
Asus Sabertooth x58 motherboard
Sapphire 6970 x 2 crossfire setup
6gb PC-12800 running at 1800hmz 1.7V
4 1tb Western digital Caviar Black SATA 3 HDD's RAID 0
and countless Case fans LEDs external devices etc with flawless performance. Payed Less than $90 for it when I got it.

Cons: LOTS of cords. Need a good case to manage them and keep them out of site, but there isn't a thing you cant power.

Not really a con

Other Thoughts: When this one dies [it will soon its been 5 years powering high performance gaming CPUs] I will buy the modern equivalent without hesitation.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Newegg backs their sales at least.

Cons: Just under 3 months of use and this thing died on me. Took out 700+ GB of data and a really nice pair of G.Skill D9GMH *cries*
At least my x1900xt didn't get fried I guess.

Other Thoughts: I can't believe it took out one drive array and not the other more sensitive 4 drive raid 0.. well at least I didn't lose that other 1.2 TB of data.
The whole reason I bought a PC P&C supply was to give me piece of mind hooking 7 hard drives up to quality power.. Now I am very disillusioned. I still can't believe this thing died and my AB9 Pro piece of junk that was hooked up to it is still trucking along.

5 out of 5 eggsSUPERIOR PSU

Pros: Are you tired of your undersized, no-name power supply letting you down? Then bust out your wallet pee-wee and get this bad boy today! It is a bit expensive, but it is worth it. You get a very reliable 750Watt power, and all the connectors you'll ever need, and the best name in the industry behind you.

Cons: For some reason this thing only comes with one (1) 4-pin molex connector. My mobo takes one, and my sweet old-fashioned Floppy Drive needs one, so I had to go out and buy a "Y" adapter for $1.67 to get another 4-pin molex connector, but who cares about such a niggling trifle like that.

Other Thoughts: I wish I could afford the 1000watt psu from this company, but it's just out of my price range right now. Next PC build, and I am going for the 1000 watter baby.

5 out of 5 eggsTop Quality Single Rail PSU

Pros: Single, stable, 12v rail. Just do a search on Google for the reviews/tests on the Silencer 750w, the best.

Cons: Nothing wrong with the product. You can get the quad-SLI Silencer 750w EPS12v version (in black too) direct from PC P&C for the same price.

Other Thoughts: These are the best, why not treat your system. The Silencer 750w EPS12v quad SLI is nVidia quad SLI approved (2x 8800 GTX). This is the exact same PSU but only has 2 SLI plugs.

Pros: This psu is everything that the company claims. I am in a state of consumer bliss with this product.

Cons: Unless it decides to return to the planet it came from, there are none.

Other Thoughts: This really is an Excellent buy.

5 out of 5 eggsthis psu is like a warm blanket on a cold night

Pros: C'mon. Duh. 60 amps on one rail = ridiculous dependability. Barring running a couple of 8800's in SLI, this thing will laugh at everything you throw at it. None of that modular crUD (is "crud" OK, overlords?) that creates a ton of extra resistance at the cable plug contact interface. None of that dual 12v rail crUD that essentially traps your juice on a rail if what that rail feeds doesn't require everything the rail is feeding it. There is a reason that PC Power and Cooling sells at a premium: they're worth it. Rock solid stability and a great warranty. Do yourself a favor and don't skimp, looking to save a buck on what is one of the top 3 most important components in your rig. Pull out the el-cheapo card when you're looking at cases or possibly RAM.

Cons: The color of the case is just heinous. It actually causes me physical pain when I look at it.

Other Thoughts: I'm an idiot for knocking this thing for it's color. Like the title of this post says, this thing is the security blanket to my Linus.

5 out of 5 eggsAll You Will Ever Need

Pros: I personally only buy PSU's from PC Power and Cooling when doing a pc build for a customer or myself. And for me this PSU was a no brainer for my current build. It delivers more than enough constant power to drive my current system and then some. Don't hesitate to buy this, this product will not let you down. Oh and its absolutely silent, cant even hear it.

Cons: Its a PC Power and Cooling product, cons? Haha yeah right.

Other Thoughts: What are you waiting for? Why haven't you bought this yet?!
