Pros: Ordered 2 for my new ZmaxDP No problems. Not too hot. They work, best i can say.

Cons: Newegg has a serious malfunction in ordering process. They are sending malformed debit info to my bank. then even as i had them on one end and the bank on the other end they still act like it is my fault. The bank does not even see the info. I have ordered over 10k of stuff from Newegg and i am shocked they are dropping the ball this time.

Comments: This is an exceptionaly great processor! Though I was a bit nervious at first when upgrading from a 240 to this baby, I have heard about how hot these and faster Opterons can be. But running at a single processor I am happy to see that it has not yet gone over 45C at full load! I am now considering to buy a second 248 and give dual Opteron processing a go! Compared to the faster Opterons I found this price to be quite well, almost what I paid for my Opteron 240s a long time ago!
