Pros: Great performance value. I've gotten it up to 2.3 gig and haven't tried pushing it beyond (yet).

Cons: They raised the price!! It was $xx 10 days ago

Comments: Bought this CPU for my heavily aged ASUS A7V R1.02 board. Really spruced up the old gal. But then shortly after, I sold that board... so I picked up an A7N8X-X to put it on.

It's a good overclocking CPU, for sure. I run it at 1.66-1.69v (flaky PS), 210x11. I think it might go a bit faster with a chipset volt mod on the board.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Comments: I Bought this one for a mid-range gaming system I'm building. Clocked to 12.5 x 177 for 2.21 GHz at 1.55V right away. Idle temp is 42c and max temp is around 48c with a no name copper cooler. Temps will drop once the artic silver burns in a little. My MSI K7N2-L motherboard only supports 166 FSB so I'm kind of limited there. But hey, I already have a 3200+ for a lot less money. I Paired it with 1 GB crucial 400 and a PNY 5950 ultra I found online for cheap. I'm playing games like Battlefield 2, Doom 3, Far Cry on high settings @ 1280 x 1024 res. Gotta Love it! Those who say the AMD Barton cpu isn’t good enough for gaming systems anymore are wrong, if you can get one of these running at 2.3 or 2.4 GHz, it's plenty fast enough to push a 6800 GT along in the latest games with no problems. If you're still running on a nforce2 platform, these AMD Barton mobiles are the only way to go!

5 out of 5 eggsgreat with water!!!

Comments: took a couple of days to learn how this chip works, but after running it for a while was able to get a 2x prime 95 stable speed of 2.47ghz running 215 x 11.5 @ 2v on an nf7-s 2.0. with demonic watercooling. took alot of playing around with before this started to work with the overclocking, almost like it was learning :P not a bad deal for an overclock that is rated at an 3800+!!! Nice chip great value!!

Comments: well, here is my trick

im using a cheap good brand name heatsink, although I cannot tell the brand or price, but I can say that it is a 60mm fan. and it is copper and aluminum.

I use this chip at 200x13.5 at 1.7 volts even. I am looking for a higher OC. with the heatsink I use, I have no temp issues at all, I dont even have to worry about it because it never goes out over 45°C

Comments: Mine just doesn't wanna run 12x200....I settled at 13.5x166 for 2.2ghz and 1.625 volts. Should last awhile and the performance is still VERY good. Just remember not all mobiles are made the same.
