5 out of 5 eggsExcellent chip

Comments: This is a very good chip. It is incredible at overclocking, nearly as good as the Athlon XP series. The integrated into chip FSB makes this chip considerably faster than its unintegrated sister chips. This chip is great but if you have the money buy the 3800+ San Diego, it runs cooler and has a larger L2 Cache.

5 out of 5 eggsAnorexic power consumption

Comments: I wouldn't call this a powerhouse for processing, but I would say it's quite capable indeed. The greatest feature about this is the very low operating temperature. Even at full throttle in the middle of an intense game of Halo, I average 86 degrees with no exceptional heat sink. This is compared to a 3ghz Intel chip in the same case averaging 98 degrees. Very stable for overclocking on an A8V deluxe mobo. I recomend this CPU.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I OCed mine to 2805MHz with the voltage at 1.55v. It performs better than the FX-57 in benchmarks.

This is a great processor to be paired with OCZ gold PC400 VX memory .

5 out of 5 eggsBuy it now!!!

Comments: First, I have been OCing for years and always on air. I tried the Highly touted Winchester and got a couple pre-0450 chips which didn't perform well. Then I resorted to a Newcastle which I was able to OC to 2640 stable on air (quiet) mind you. Then I got this baby. Running at 2750 with an XP-90 and fan at 2500RPM this thing is King!!! and at only 1.55 VCore With a louder fan This is more than capable of 2.8 plus. 36C Idle 44C Load. For those techies it was Prime stable for over 10 hours. Now my dual 6800gt SLI rig is unstoppable....

Comments: Bought 2 of these for new gaming systems. Very stable & cool. A workhorse in programming and gaming, and a great OC'er when combined with the Arctic Cooler Freezer from Newegg. Best CPU bang for the $$ currently.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Comments: This is one speedy little chip. Especially considering the fact that my main machine before this build was a 400Mhz.. But anyway, this proc seems to take anything I throw at it without raising above 40C... Paired with the right heatsink, fan, and compound, you could easily be idling at 28C (I am!).
