Plug & go!
- Pros: I like when you plug in everything on a fresh build of a new system and when you power up that first time, EVERYTHING works! No Configuration tweaks necessary (except to set date and time).
- Cons: Nope, I did my homework before buying my memory.
- Other Thoughts: System:
Case: Thermaltake V6000A
MoBo: Asus P5B-E (Fantastic board)
CPU: Conroe E6600 Core 2 Duo
Memory: Kingston 1.8V DDR2 PC2-5300
Power Supply: Thermaltake 700W
Video Card: XFX GeForce 7900GS
CPU Cooling: Arctic Cooler Freezer (Keeps my CPU under 28 degrees C (under extreme conditions running looped 3dMark06 1280x1024 res, 5394 3dM score, 1024x768 res, 6494 3dM score)
Eggsellent system ...
Good, stable RAM
- Pros: Good RAM - absolutely no issues with this product.
- Cons: The price has dropped considerably (the RAM is 3/4ths the price that I paid back in October 06), but that's life...
... and people who claim high technical understandings, yet are working on their first PC build...
- Other Thoughts: Built with a C2D E6600 and 2 GB of this RAM. System has been running stable (24/7 with a restart every 3-5 days) since mid-October, 2006. I'm buying another 2 GB after I finish this review.
