If you need lots of memory but don’t have lots of money, then PQI is the way to go. Their 1GB DDR 400 module gives your system a great boost in performance without breaking the bank. If you’re upgrading your existing system take the money you save and get a faster video card. Or just get more memory, because there never is enough.

Great and affordable
- Pros: It works and gave my computer the ability to run more application at a time. Photoshop, iTunes, Google Earth, Firefox, MATLAB all opened at the same time without lag. 2GB is the magic number nowadays for sufficient performance and affordability. Of course if you don't use any memory-intensive applications, 1GB would be more than sufficient.
- Cons: none, still working fine after two years.
- Other Thoughts: I bought my first piece of pqi 1GB memory over 2 years ago for 100 do_ll_arSS. It took 2 years for the price to drop low enough to 25 do_ll_ars for me to justify buying another one for my budget system. The old one had pqi stamped on the memory chips, the one I got last week had Hynix stamped on the memory chips, with a pqi sticker on top of it.
Great memory, Great Price
- Pros: Great fast memory (PC3200), works just as good as other high end brands.
Cheap price and great delivery from Newegg!
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I was skeptical at first, never bought or heard of this brand before. After reading other people's reviews I figured I would give it a try. I'm glad I did, very stable memory, no problems. I will be ordering more of these for sure.
