Great Memory
- Pros: Looks great, low cost, very fast and stable. Over one year heavy usage for gaming on my child's computer, runs absolutely flawless. His "inexpensive" AMD sempron (overclocked hard) / eVGA 6600gt (overclocked hard w/aftermarket cooling)/ and this memory (overclocked hard) machine has NEVER had an error or problem. He addictively plays WoW on it with max graphics settings on 1152 x 864 screen resolution. Also to the memory's (and other parts in that machine) credit, it is built in a $xx case, with included cheap (likely unstable) power supply, not to mention the 20 pin power connector plugged into the 24 pin socket on board. Simply amazed by all the parts on that "inexensive" build.
- Cons: Did not act right at first, required manualy setting timings on my motherboard. Initially was unable to get it to run at all unless timings were very, very slow. Still unsure what the cause was.
- Other Thoughts: Ram has had some bad reviews for not working properly when purchased. It did this for me at first. In fact, was unable to set memory to specified settings for a number of days. After about three days, the memory ran as it was supposed to, and has run for over a year overclocked from specified timings. Runs stable on Biostar T-force board @ 466Mhz, 2-3-2-5, cas2, voltage bump.
Great cost/performance
- Pros: CAS2, tight timings. Great value for the size and speed of the memory. Works at rated specs/speeds.
- Cons: Heatspreader does not contact all chips (look at it from the side and you can see gaps), appears to be completely cosmetic.
- Other Thoughts: RAM appears to be working flawlessly after several days of operation. MemTest86+ ran continuously for 4 hours with zero errors. Working at rated timings in my heavily overclocked Athlon 64 2800+ system with no instability or problems. I am VERY satisfied.

nah uh
- Pros: Well... It works... a little bit.
I liked it for a week.
- Cons: Not a reccomended buy. I had this ram for about 1 week before I started getting the infamous blue screen of death. I ran mannny mannny checks and it turned out after I ran a memtest86 that it found 160,000 errors with a 1gig stick, mostly in test number 6 [Moving inversions, 32 bit pat]. It found like 100,000 errors in that and the second leading failed test was Test 4 [Moving inversions, random pattern], with 26,000 errors.
- Other Thoughts: PQI is a very reliable brand, and I have had no problems previously, and I must have just gotten a bad stick, I won't be buying again from PQI (ram anyhow) but it's all up to you if you choose to buy ram that gives 160,000 errors in a 40 minute test. Nice.
