5 out of 5 eggsGood value, good performace

Pros: Plug and play on an old system for a client coming from 256mb now to 1GB (2 of these). No more "low virtual memory" warning, yadda yadda. Kingston has always made good memory.

Cons: A tad expensive for a system this old.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Cheap Memory

Pros: Cheap

Cons: didn't come with self install directive.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for an 8 year old desktop I fixed for a friend. The computer is still running like a champ with no errors or failings from this memory. Good choice to keep the old budget units running their best.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM for value

Pros: Works, it is 512MB

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I bought a stick of this to add to my parents older compaq presario - it was lagging pretty much as it only came from the factory with 128MB installed running XP. They were helping me out lately with something so I thought I'd do something for them... before, they would avoid touching the computer and now they are always on it!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: Good memory. No problems so far.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Bought for use in Linux box I put together out of old parts. Works perfectly. Exactly what I was looking for: decent, cheap memory.

5 out of 5 eggsAs advertised

Pros: BOught these old babies to upgrade my 10 year old daughters pc to keep up with internet surfing and school work. Going from 1gb Corsair Value to Kingston was a great performance boost.

Cons: It's RAM. If it performs as stated and isn't dead its good!
