5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good inexpensive fast

Cons: 0

Other Thoughts: I put this ram in an old PC and woke it up. The hyper X line from these guys is fast.

5 out of 5 eggsgood upgrade

Pros: I purchased this for my Dell Dimension 4400 desktop, and it works great. What an upgrade over the 256MB that the system came with. Shipped in 2 days. The system recognized it right away. Thanks Newegg.

Cons: why do I need a "con" to submit a review?

5 out of 5 eggsgreat ram

Pros: i've had this ram for a while now and it performs great for me in my system. i've enjoyed the upgrade from the ram that came in my system.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: i originally purchased this ram to up my memory to 2gb, but soon after my original 1gb died out on me, and even on its own this ram was better than the original in my system. i'm thinking of purchasing more soon.

5 out of 5 eggswow

Pros: had them for a long time, never had any problems.
2gb would be great.

Cons: i only had 1gb, wasn't enough to run latest games in high.
these rams cost more than my new corsair dd2 rams.

Other Thoughts: new everything.

5 out of 5 eggsGood, Old RAM

Pros: High quality RAM with rock-solid dependability, excellent longevity, expected performance, and decent heat spreaders.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This RAM has performed perfectly in my system for almost four years. Extensive loads (SETI, Folding) for 72+ hours *and* uptimes of two months (system brought down for cleanings) are not uncommon. The RAM performs as expected for it's timings, so there should be no surprises there. Distinctive blue heat spreaders are a nice touch as well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Runs like a champ. Runs well with my A8N32 and A7N board. Only quirk was the timings with both boards were 2.5-3-3-8 by default but a quick setting change in the BIOS fixed that. Not a con if you like tuning your RAM to run and this stuff does. Heatspreaders with my set have the blue with silver ends like some of the 1GB sets show in the site's listings and they run cool too.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: As to the RAM timing issues some seem to be having, not all boards will recognize it at listed timings by default due to the different chipsets that exist in different board models. In my case with the NF2 and NF4 chipsets, setting the timings in the BIOS worked and it ran well at the stock 2.6v setting. It's good quality RAM with a name known for their products being reliable.
Do yourself a favor - Get a set before it's all gone!

5 out of 5 eggsvery easy

Pros: As close to plug and play as you get, just snapped in, comp auto recognized and has been working great ever since. Upgraded from 1gb to 2bg and have noticed a nice difference.

Cons: none at this point.

Other Thoughts: I have read other post about Ram's timing being off, I do not know enough about Ram to get into this. However, for my everday use and WOW, Insurgency, COD, there was enough of a difference for me to not be concerned with the timings.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy :)

Pros: After reading up on CAS latency, I realized that I got lucky. Supposedly, CAS 2 latency can get more out of your pc's performance, even assist in overclocking the pc, as well as reduce the amount of time it takes to access data. It has been deemed to be more reliable and stable compared to other brand names. In addition, the heat spreaders are in place to always keep the memory cool if you should run a high-powered pc that just so happens to use this type of ram. You can't expect any less from Kingston.

Cons: The price could be a bit less.

Other Thoughts: I added the "couple" to my HP Pavilion a250n media center pc (running vista premium oem, which i got from newegg) to improve the performance. After test driving it for more than a week, I'm inclined to purchase another pair. I doubt that my pc will overheat, but that's what the heat spreaders are there for. I honestly could have purchased something for a bit less, but I'd figure I'd test these bad boys out. Will probably install some graphic intensive pc game to see how well it performs.
