Pros: I put this in my old dell inspiron 1100 to give it a little extra life. Works great and it plays well with whatever memory stick was origionally in there.

Just the thing for a Dell 5100!

Pros: Read several other reviews of this RAM for the Dell 5100 and as the others said it was perfect for this machine. My 5 year old Dell was dog slow with just 512mb ram. So I upped it to 1Gig and boy, what a difference! Once installed it was reccognized right away and we were off! Crucial's web site calls for a PC2700 chip and others had issues with that. So stick to this Corsair chip in the 5100 and you will be happy.

Cons: um...

Other Thoughts: When I have the choice I choose Corsair. I know it sounds like a sales pitch, but I just don't trust some of the El Cheapo brands. I want to make sure my customers don't have any more problems.
