Amazing
- Pros: put 4 gigs in my p4p800e 4 months ago. works GREAT! Flawless.
- Cons: Mushkins rebate program is run very poorly. Pony express would have got it to me faster. 5 months for the first pair, 4 months for the second pair, WEAK!
- Other Thoughts: P4P800E, 2X 10000 rpm raptor drives in a RAID array, 3.2 intel chip running at 3.6, 2-Plextor dvd drives, 4Ghz of mushkin ddr500, 550W antec power, compro capture card, 250Gb WD sata storage drive, xp pro, and linux, envida video card, totall of 8 fans, in an siverstone aluminum case. There's not much I cant do with this baby!
Buy it you'll like it
- Pros: GREAT ram, OCs nice, looks cool, lightining fast, Put 4 gigs in like I did, you wont be sorry.
- Cons: None for the product but dont hold your breath waiting for the rebate [4 months]thats weak!!!!
Great for OC
- Pros: OC to 250MHz (1/01), stable and passed all tests throw in. Pair w/ DFI SLI-DR Expret & AMD 64 x2 4200+.
I still stay with factory setting 3-4-3-8, haven't had time to push it yet.
This is enough for my setup, you may want Redline series(more expensive) if you do have some higher grade compoents.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: If you OC your CPU, make sure set your RAM to 1/01 for max performance (need stability testing b4 settle, of course).
