I bought this mainly because I couldn't overclock my computer without some type of instability problems. But after about a week of tweaking I realized it wasn't going to happen. But on the up side it has really good stability and benchmark scores went up so it did do something good to my system. I have tried overclocking anything yet. Super stable. Very fast. My halo score jumped way up using this memory over my Kingston HyperX chips. VERY satisfied with this RAM. I have always used Crucial and I always will. They make the best RAM. Instant noticable system improvment over my gig of PC2700 (Crucial also). I've been running it 3-16 hrs a day for 3 months now with no issues on Win xp or Linux Fedora 3, 64-bit. 2x512MB running @ 10x250Mhz. Set HT to 4, cas latency to 2.5, left timing to auto (running 1T). Memory voltage=2.8. Vcore is 1.55v. Setup is an MSI Neo2, AMD 3500+ (.13 Micron), OCZ adjustable power supply and of course a cheap, simple, quiet, water cooling kit for the processor and video card. CPU temp is 34c idle to 52c when max. Crucials' tech support did a great job with assisting. (need to hit +/- to change HT from 5 to 4 - not enter!). 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Great timings, running at 2-2-2-5 overclocked to 235 fsb with no problems. Get the faster pc4000 so you can run these timings with no problems. They run at the tightest timings when your not overclocking, and you can make them loose to overclock your CPU and the RAM, etc. Great, stable ram, I probably wont be buying RAM for a long time.
