1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None

Cons: Arrived DOA. I RMA'd and Newegg refunded me instead of replacing because they couldn't confirm if they would get more of this item since it is discontinued. Now I have to place a new order instead of subbing another item. I think Newegg jumped a little quick into the refund without giving me the option to sub an item. Not a huge deal, but I would have like the option.

5 out of 5 eggs6 Days Later...

Pros: PC4000 Memory, Solid Timings, Crucial is very compatible memory, handles up to 250MHz FSB, which is all I need.

Cons: Price is still a little high, but demands for DDR are dropping.

Other Thoughts: Sweet, Newegg took their sweet time getting it to FedEx, so now this whole process is going to take over 6 days for memory which I had hoped I would receive on a day off so I could install it, but NO!, let's not do me any favors. Coming from NJ, I could drive up and back this weekend and pick it up faster! GG, I'm done upgrading!!

5 out of 5 eggsGOOD RAM!!!!

Pros: got the tracer versions of these (fancy leds) REALLLL NICEEE! the black pcb does look cooler ehe. the leds are kinna bright and a lil annoying but they fit wit the case.

Cons: none so far! n hopefully none soon haha.

Other Thoughts: good ram - heres my setup.
dfi.lanparty.nf4.sli-xtreme
opteron.165-2.5ghz
crucial.ballistix.tracer-ddr556
WD.raptor-74gb
maxtor.sata150-300gbx2
evga.6800gt.SLI-2x
thermaltake.tsunami.dream
ultra.xfinityv1.500w
samsung.dvd18x

ram is at 3338 - 278 mhzx2 so like ddr556. i can prolly oc more but im having fun being it stable now!

ive read a lot of reviews between other memories running at 2gb. high timings and its kind hard to crunch through it, but its good enough for what i am doing right now.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good RAM

Pros: Attained very stable OC's with my FX-55 setup. Bumping from 2.6GHz stock to 3.2GHz was very easy without fiddling with RAM voltages.

Heat Spreaders actually do their job rather than merely add to the looks of the system.

Cons: Wishful thinking, but who doesn't want prices to be cheaper :P

Other Thoughts: Pleasantly surprised. Bought this RAM a few months back when it came with a hefty rebate. Initially, that was the clincher, but after a few month's use, this RAM has gone above and beyond what I had hoped.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: Going from 256MB to 2GB of RAM is going to make a difference no matter what brand. However, it snapped right in and the system fired up without issue.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Overclocked to 275Mhz with SPD timings (3-3-3-8) without overvolting. Looks good.

Cons: I've only had it for a day.. so time will tell. If these babies fail me I will say so!

4 out of 5 eggsRuns OK so far

Pros: These set of Balistix worked fine with my 754 build without any fuss (abit nf3-250gb, 580w PSU, sapphire x800gto 12pipe, WD250g SATA HDD). I was concerned with a few unfortunate reviews below, but I guess they were just in bad luck. These ram work fine under stock build.

Cons: not found yet.

Other Thoughts: I must push these two sticks to extreme soon to see if they work as they were intended (overclocking). So far, they perform as I expected. Seeng advanced model of DDRs work on old 754 platform flawlessly was a great experience. And, these ram are dead cheap now with $xx rebates. so hurry, it won't last forever!
