Pros: Works great, USB 2.0, plenty fast, activity light is easy to see in the daytime and quite bright @ night, good deal for the dough, attractive sleek black exterior, cap snaps on tight, more than enough capacity for daily backups and moving files around.
Reliable brand in my experience: 256MB Crucial Gizmo put into service in August 2005 is still working great after light to heavy daily use primarily for data and file back-up, and has never failed to restore files when I need them.
Cons: Nope.
Other Thoughts: I have usually formatted flash drives with NTFS when I get them. Recently learned that there are also advantages to leaving them formatted with FAT or FAT32 depending on usage and other considerations.

Pros: I love the style of it, its smaller, but not small enough where it becomes annoying. The cap fits nice and firm once you slide it on and it locks into the grooves. It has the blue LED light which looks great and is very easy to see. I wrote about 660 megabytes within four minutes. So its pretty close to a 2.7mb per second write speed. I'm not entirely sure on the read speed. Sorry.
Cons: Well, so far the only con that I can of is that I don't understand why they would make a place for a lanyard, but won't include one for you. However, its not that big of a deal to down an egg for it.
Other Thoughts: It gets the job done, its nice for your everyday use. It is only 2 gigs, so I know I can't keep my entire music library on this drive. Also remember not to completely trust a flash drive, it is still flash memory and things can happen, so it may be a good idea to back up your data on any flash drive, just a tip from me to you.

Pros: These units do what they are suppose to do, or have so far.
Cons: I prefer the tether post to be located on the device and not the cap. The cap does have a secure sounding snap to it when seated, but I still prefer to have the lanyard post located on the device itself.
