Noticeable improvement, no problems so far

Pros: Nearly eliminated small lags in normal operation and dramatically improved performance when using Parallels, Photoshop, and Aperture.

Cons: None so far after four months of daily use.

Other Thoughts: Installed in a 15" MacBook Pro (2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo) replacing default 2GB. Install was simple, and RAM was immediately recognized. So far, I am quite pleased.

After upgrading to Mac OS X 10.5 with only 2GB, there was noticeable (though not problematic) lag in normal operations like accessing the dock (automatic hide & show enabled). These lags were eliminated after upgrading to this RAM. In addition, I do some heavy computing (especially photo editing). This upgrade resulted in a dramatic improvement when using Parallels, Aperture, and/or Photoshop.

Pros: 4GB kit kicks in dual-channel symmetrical RAM on Dual Core Duo (not even Core 2 Duo) and Vista Rating Index shot up from 2.5 to 3.3!! Had 1GB/2GB before, 32 bit may not use all 4GB, but there's more to the story.

Cons: Zero. Even runs cooler.

Pros: I was going to 'cheap out' initially when upgrading my ram but then I came to my senses and I spent the extra 10 bucks and went with Crucial due to their outstanding track record for quality..

If you own a Dell 1501 laptop you will appreciate the fact that YES the Dell 1501 WILL take 4GB (2gb in each slot) and make use of it all if you're running a 64-bit OS (Win7)

Cons: NONE YET

Other Thoughts: Glad it works with my Dell 1501, contrary to what I read on some random posts elsewhere..

Works great in mac mini

Pros: Works great, no issues after 9+ months of use.

Cons: DDR2 is on its way out, and price continues to go up. Glad I got it when (and as cheap as) I did.

Other Thoughts: Installed in a 2007 1.83 GHz mac mini. Opening and getting to the RAM was a pain, but the Crucial RAM was easy to install and recognized upon startup. Has worked great since installing in May '09.
