5 out of 5 eggsSeems to be working well

Pros: This stick seems to be working out well.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: I put this in a 1.33 GHz iBook and it seems to be working out well. Saw a huge jump in performance over the stock 256 meg.

5 out of 5 eggs2 In HP Pavillion ZV5346US now!

Pros: There are now two of these little gems running in my HP Pavillion ZV5000 series laptop (ZV5346us).

Originally I only did one per following HP guidelines but after doing some research around the net, you can remove the keyboard to upgrade the memory under it too. You have to remove the screws from the back of the laptop near the screen hinge. Then the top plastic above the keyboard will pull up with a little leverage. There will be 4 screws then on the top of the keyboard. Below the keyboard is the other RAM chip to upgrade.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked for 8 months, then failed

Pros: Relatively inexpensive

Cons: It's doomed to fail sooner or later, I am affraid.

Other Thoughts: It seems, this memory develops a problem after 6-9 months. The symptoms were random crashes of IE. I checked with Memtest and it showed errors after 5-6 cycles. Newegg is replacing it, but I am not confident in this brand anymore.

5 out of 5 eggs2 sticks in my 17"

Pros: I have two 1gb sticks now in my 17" 1.67gb PowerBook and they work great. I bought the first one almost a year ago when I bought the machine and installed the second yesterday.

Cons: This memory appears to not work in PowerBooks slower than 1.5gb. Its well documented in these reviews but still people keep buying it?

1 out of 5 eggsNot good for 15" Powerbook!

Pros: None

Cons: Did not work at all in my Powerbook G4 15" 1.25Ghz. I traded it in for another brand. Powerbook users beware!

2 out of 5 eggsProblems with Powerbook

Pros: Worked for a while, then started having errors.

Cons: Two sticks have both quit working.

Other Thoughts: I have a Powerbook 17" 1.33 and I was using two sticks of this RAM. Over a period of several months, both started having errors. One of these, I tried in a Dell, which also started freezing up and crashing. The other has just stopped working and makes OS X freeze, crash, etc.

I can understand one stick being bad, but my confidence in this RAM is gone after two failed sticks. Beware!
