5 out of 5 eggsGreat sticks of ram

Pros: Installed 2gb of this ram. Booted up without a problem. Its been stable and reliable for me for over a year.

Cons: Don't put any complaints here if you know you're buying $25 ram.

Other Thoughts: Not very pretty looking ram, but I didnt pay for that.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Ram

Pros: Cheap, reliable, gets the job done.

Cons: Not high end. No room for overclocking with these.

Other Thoughts: I wish it came with heatsinks attached, but hey, I can't complain with the price these are going for.

2 out of 5 eggsFaulty Ram

Pros: Cheap

Cons: I used this for a budget htpc, but it kept bugging out on me. I couldn't even finish installing vista without getting the blue screen of death....

Other Thoughts: quick delivery

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Product

Pros: Baught this RAM as part of my swap to Athlon's AM2 socket setup. The performance compared to my old setup is definitely a large one. It does everything I need it to do and then some.

Cons: Not really top-of-the-line as far as performance goes but for the price I wasn't expecting greatness.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm satisfied with the RAM. Does everything I need it to do and nothing I don't. As always, big thanks to Newegg for fast delivery!

2 out of 5 eggsNot so good

Pros: Cheap; Awesome product for those who like being with their computer; Great for getting together with whiny family members whom you assembled a computer.

Cons: Built 3 boxes with identical motherboards. 2 had this memory while the third had another brand for the cost of an extra two bucks. We're not overclockers (stability is more important to us than speed), but I noticed this memory has no head room - no extra speed to spare. This is slow stuff that barely clocks at its rated speed. Probably what causes it to be picky resulting in system unstablity. Additionally, 1 set died after < 2-months costing hours of repair - reinstall of windows & loss of data. My third system (HTPC), without this memory, hauls - running about 12-hours a day with multiple users. I'm on it now...waiting for the newly purchased replacement memory to arrive for my dead office computer.

Other Thoughts: Saving a couple of bucks here isn't worth it. Both of the unstable systems with this memory have good power supplies (Corsair HX520 & Antec Phantom 500). Motherboards are Biostar TF-7025 with AMD X2's @ 5600+. Antec P-182 cases - plenty of ventilation. Windows XP - latest XP, AMD, etc. drivers. MS has a memory diagnostic program on their web site that works very well at detecting bad memory modules. Buy this and you may need it.

4 out of 5 eggssolid ram

Pros: cheap, stable, low voltage. I'm running mine at 864 @1.9V right now and I haven't had any problems with it, and it's been through a few days of heavy gaming.

Cons: I have the EVGA 590SLI board, and it was putting the ram at 750 on stock settings. I dropped the multiplier to 14x and it put the ram at 800. so I just raised the fsb until the CPU was back at stock speeds, and the RAM held up fine. although, that could be more an issue with the board than the RAM

5 out of 5 eggsThumbs Up!

Pros: Posted on the first shot and is very stable. Paired with a ABIT NF-M2S GeForce 6100 Micro ATX Motherboard.

Cons: No heat spreaders? Then again, it is value ram

Other Thoughts: These fit the bill perfectly well for a budget build intended for my father in law. Zips around great in Windows XP with a AMD X2 4000+ (Brisbane Core).
