Pros: Because this has a carrier, it works in many products. My cell phone and camera take full size chips and it works in both of those places. And it works in places requiring the carrier-less chip.

Other Thoughts: Bought this over two years ago when they were brand new for sixteen times the price. I think I'll buy a few more just to have spares!
