Buy faster. Other Thoughts: Been installed into my system (nearly 90% uptime) with decent loads for 8-10 hours a day and has not glitched yet. The memory worked without any flaws. In fact the original memory that was in the system was also from Adata, but that means nothing since it's all about the correct memory configuration. I am really happy that i bought it since its a great investment. I also like the fact that 2GB's are 2GB's, not 1.5 or anything like that. I really recommend this to anyone that is looking to speed up there computer hella fast and in a very cheap way. Cons: None so far. The heat spreaders make a difference. Cons: I have found one major problem while gaming. The frame rates seem to "skip" every second or so. This started happening after installing this RAM. I see it most in FS2004 and Silent Hunter 4. Other Thoughts: If you can ignore the erratic frame rates, then this RAM is a very good deal. Shaved 30 minutes off the first pass of a DivX AVI encoding of a 6.3GB DVD. Cut an hour off the second pass. Looking at the old memory as it came out of the computer, maybe the red heat spreaders really DO serve a function. If you are considering a memory upgrade I recomend ADATA. Cons: Blasted sealed plastic container. Not only pilfer proof nearly consumer proof! Other Thoughts: New Egg was very prompt about shipping this out. Did you find this review helpful?
