BLAZING SPEED & PERFORMANCE
- Pros: Added these to my build which contained 2GB OCZ DDR2-667 S.O.E. Now I have 4GB total memory and each stick has been overclocked to DDR2-800 speeds to keep up with my overclocked E4300 @ 3.20 gHz and rising :)
- Cons: NONE, OCZ is an excellent quality company.
- Other Thoughts: ASUS P5B Deluxe. Core 2 Duo E4300 @3.20ghz+, OCZ DDR2-667 4GB @DDR2-800+, Viewsonic 19" WS, XFX 7800 GTXOC 256MB...system holding me down till I can pool enough money together for a 8 series card!
Better than expected
- Pros: Runs at advertised timings for me. Worked fine with gigabyte m55+sg3 board 1st try. Actually ran for me at pc6400 speeds with 5-5-5-15 timings but got a few errors in memtest. Had to adjust in bios, but at 4-4-4-12 no errors in memtest over 6 hours
- Cons: I guess having to adjust the bios to get the timings correct is a bit of a pain, so I'd watch out if your bios limits your ability to change settings.
- Other Thoughts: I didn't have to do like some others and use 1 stick to post and get to bios to tweak settings. These run fine for me with 1.8V.
