- Pros: after setting all timings, voltage, and memory bus frequency you can to achieve their manufactured speeds.

now set your memory bus speed to 1066 mhz, and set volt from 1.9 to 2.2. but do not go over 2.2 or you will void your worrenty.
- Other Thoughts: i just happend to notice one day my ram was running at half the speed it was suppose to so i went to thare forums spent all day digging and trouble shooting and finally came to this, these settings work for most but not all. so i hope newegg allows me to post this so not every one has to spend all day trying to achieve the speeds they bought but did not get.
OCZ Broken...
- Pros: As always, newegg is the best online retailer. OCZ is a technology leader, offering excellent products, technical support and web presence. Price/performance with OCZ memory products is outstanding.
- Cons: Rebates. OCZ must change rebate processing centers. Their current rebate center in White Bear Lake MN is at best a front for scam/ripoff. OCZ damages itself, tarnishing its image/products by it's continued association and non-intervention with this outfit. Ditto to newegg. The prices quoted as "price-after rebate" are misleading/misrepresentation as the MIR company intentionally delays/invalidates/discards your original product UPC, invoice, and claim letter (good luck getting 'em back !!).
- Other Thoughts: The MIR Rip-Off at White Bear Lake MN is not a new phenomenon/problem - OCZ & newegg are well aware of the problem. I will continue to buy OCZ's excellent memory products via newegg.com, however, until OCZ corrects this disappointing business practice/relationship, I will continue to vote by giving these excellent products the lowest rating of one sad egg.

Not Happy
- Pros: I am a system builder and have used this memory twice before with Phenom II @1066 without issue.
- Cons: I ordered this for a customer.This set was bad both sticks failed to run @1066 tried voltages from 2.05 to 2.20,manual settings and auto settings both failed.I run Identical ram @1066 in my PC and I swapped these out with them just to make sure it wasnt the board.They failed in my board also(and I know my settings are correct because I have the exact same set running @1066)I already had to shell out the money to order another set as I cant wait for RMA.I just hope Newegg will give me a refund later.Also hope the extra days this is costing me doesn't lose me one of my valued customers.
- Other Thoughts: I feel bad for chopping down OCZ because I had such good luck and good performance from the first 2 kits I purchased.But the bottom line is right now they have a 1 out of 3 failure rate with me.As long as the replacements work to specs I will continue to order OCZ.

- Pros: good price after rebates for desktop RAM these days ($52AR). Reputable brand. Slick looking.
- Cons: None as of yet
- Other Thoughts: RAM just works. Put it in my ASUS M3A78 PRO. Had to adjust my BIOS a little, but CPU-Z shows it as working at 1066. I dunno, it's RAM and it works. How can I find fault with that?
800MHz perfect 1066MHz unachievable
- Pros: Am using these modules on a M3N72-D Motherboard with AMD's Phenom II X4 3.4Ghz and they work perfectly at 800Mhz Dual, but when ever I try to change the settings to 1066Mhz, my system always crashes. I have tried all sorts of settings and no luck. I contacted OCZ via e-mail, and after many responses, they only told me that AMD had some weak DDR2 controllers. Am using the board's latest BIOS and the board does support DDR2 1066. So I guess I will only be able to use these modules at 800Mhz.
- Cons: Setting the right timings for 1066 is a huge pain and it gets you very annoyed.
- Other Thoughts: If OCZ can come up with the right settings for my board, I will buy products from them again. Meanwhile, am thinking of buying a different brand ram modules and compare.
