Other Thoughts: Get a pair of these to match the 1 gb modules and max your xp 32 bit system out. DUMP SERVICE PACK 3 ON XP 32 BIT NOW. THIS IS MICROSOFTS WAY OF SCREWING UP THE BEST OPERATING SYSTEM EVER. DISABLE AUTO UPDATES NOW! That was a friendly tip. I load xp sp2 and update without sp3. Only made that mistake once. XP still king.

Pros: 4 stars because it's new egg. However, the ram installed just fine.
Just read your motherboard specs and some reviews for your motherboard for any issues. For me, I decided to go for these cause I can eventually go for 2gb using all 4slots. Going 4gb for a 2.4ghz would be a waste imo.
Cons: Just a bit more pricey then newer ram, seems like alot of upgrades to brandname computers. Mine only had 128mb. I guess this isn't really a con for the ram or newegg. If your board takes this type of ram, this is probably a safe route.
Other Thoughts: I hate shipping companies, UPS 3day is 4-5days. Almost always 5 if over the weekend. I think it's time that shipping open their regular hours on weekends also!
Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. This memory package is great as an upgrade option for many older name brand computers. Many computers may have only 128MB or 256MB originally, so this 1GB memory package would surely eliminate the delays (lag) as a result of low available memory.
