Every computer needs more memory, even if you think you have enough. No matter what computer you have, or if you're building a new system, memory is vital to a computer. Generally speaking the more you have the better the computer will perform. Just make sure which specific type of memory your system requires.
Keeping that in mind G.Skill's 2GB (2 x 1GB) dual channel kit is perfect for adding to the performance of your computer. Designed for high performance systems, the distinctive blue heat-spreader helps cool the memory because higher timings and overclocking create more heat. This set is DDR 400(PC 3200), running at 400MHz; with 2 x 1GB modules you will add a total of 2GB's of memory. Pick yourself up some of G.Skill's DDR 400 memory and you will see your system explode with performance!

One A M A Z I N G Memory
- Pros: Once again this is one awesome memory, I have never been satisfied with any piece of hardware more that this memory and I have built and upgraded quite a few systems. This memory replaced my 1GB G.Skill set-2x512 F1- GBLC,which is also great but considering how much I paid for it about 8 months ago, it's not. This memory does everything my 1 gb set did and then some!. Forgot to change Bios before taking old memory out, and booted right up at AUTO voltage, 253 MHz 2,5-3-3-7.It doesn get hot at all, its barely warm after 3 hours of most wanted... Ihave read that it likes 3-3-2-5 @ around 250Mhz, so I set it up to 2.5-3-2-5. And still keeps chewing thru without the hitch, tried 3dmark for stability ,gamimg, NO problems at this setting. Maybe I got one of a few very good pairs, maybe not. BUt I could not be hapier considering I got it on"massive markdowns" sale when it was in 180s...BUY IT,you will thank me later , forget corsair and ocz, g.skill is THE memory .Oh-MB utility reads 2,736 V
- Cons: NONE !!!
I had also crucial bali$tix 2gb which for the price sucked so bad I cant even tellyou. Like many people I had somewhat defective pair because of extreme heat.
- Other Thoughts: g skill customer for life.
not five but 10 eggs...
Fast Timing
- Pros: Excellent memory for the money. My set has been detected as pc3200, at 2,2,2,5. Will go upto 238mmhz FSB, at 2,3,2,5. Could get upto 262mhs 2.5,3,3,6 (processor limitation). Amazing!!!
- Cons: None

Great Buy
- Pros: plug and play, quick install, and extremely good warranty.
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: If you have an older system, you need to max out your RAM. this product is probably the best speed and size for the buck.
doing ok minor problem my fault
- Pros: it works, more capacity, sticks with marked lot the same and in order
almost got 4 set sequnice recived 38,39,42,43 stated timming of 2.3.2.5 reading at 2.2.2.5 in bios inexspensive compared to 4 gig of ddr3 recived in under 4 days (ordered monday morning)
- Cons: bios reading them at 333 instead of 400
was hoping for a forced ram oc thru timing my fault for getting the 2.0 cs instead of 2.5 like i had in my dell 8300 shrugs works great 1 pass ram checked fine could have rma them but figured why i jumped from 512mb to 4 gig so the performance loss is neglageble dual channel is forced by matched ram and my system dosnt support dual chanle? but shows in bios? i dont get it all specs say my mobo is non dual channle (non configurable)
- Other Thoughts: mod the mobo to force 400;flash bios to tweaker bios to saport the correct ram settings
Be very careful.
- Pros: None
- Cons: I looked on my motherboard specifications and it said nothing about cl2 or cl3 memory. I originally had ddr 400 pc 3200 cl3 with this motherboard: Asrock P4i65G. When I installed this memory and turned on the computer I smelled something burning. Neither asrock nor this memory advertisement show anything about cl2 or cl3 memory. I'm assuming this is what caused my board or processor to burn out. I followed what Asrock said for memory but they left that little detail out. Here's what Asrock says for the memory:
Dual Channel DDR memory technology - 2 x DDR DIMM slots - Supports DDR400/333/266 non-ECC, un-buffered memory - Max. capacity of system memory: 2GB So we don't have anything that conflicts from what I can see.
- Other Thoughts: I put the old memory in and I couldn't get the system running. I went ahead and ordered a new motherboard, cpu, memory since I needed to upgrade anyway but I'm out a motherboard and cpu because of this memory.

Manufacturer Response:. Dear Customer We are sorry to hear your memory package did not operate properly. For all of our memory packages, we do list timings. The first number of the timings is CAS Latency. For example with this memory package, it states "Timing: 2-3-2-5". Although the specs may have been incorrect it should simply not operate. An incorrect latency will not cause your motherboard to smell funny or burn out. When installing memory, make sure the power cord is unplugged and the memory is properly seated before turning on the machine. The memory should "click" into place if installed smoothly.
