Pros: Worked OK in an HP Pavilion a347x.

Priced well for the memory sticks

Cons: DID NOT WORK in the machine I purchased them for which was an HP Pavilion a1267c machine that is suppose to be able to handle up to 4GB RAM.

This machine has 4 slots. I could not get either stick to work by themselves or in conjunction with any other memory stick including the existing working RAM in this PC. When I put the original memory back in the PC, it worked just fine again, so I added 2 OTHER memory sticks I had laying around to this machine to bring memory up to 1.75GB and I'm working with that.

I'm really disappointed as I was hoping to wind up with a full 3GB of RAM consisting of existing 512, 512, then add the new 1GB + 1GB for a total of 3GB. Unfortunately that didn't work.

I brought the memory home and plugged it into another HP a347x machine and they appear to work just fine.

Other Thoughts: This is the first time I have had compatibility issues with matching RAM to a PC. Evidently there is some type of timing issue with this RAM as the PC would only beep at power up with a single stick or multiple sticks inserted in every possible configuration allowed by the MB Manufacturer.

Pros: Worked fine in an older Compaq Presario. Went from 2x512MB to 2x512MB + 2 x1GB. All sticks working well together.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Customer happy.

Pros: Loaded a total of 4GB worth of these onto my old system with is leagues better than the 512MB I was working with. So I can now run RAM intensive programs like Photoshop without having to close out of everything else I was doing.

Cons: price is a little high for this legacy tech.

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind that if you are still running a 32 bit version of Windows you can only use about less than 3 and a half GB.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: You get what you paid for . Product was dead on arrival.

Pros: None for me

Cons: Unfortunately, I thought this RAM met the specs needed for my HP Pavilion a1129n; it does not apparently. When installing the RAM, I just keep hearing beeps when powering on the tower. I updated my BIOS and still, nothing. I want to upgrade my PC badly but I don't know which type of RAM would be compatible for me.

I base that on the performance I have experienced and the consistently great feedback G.Skill memory receives.
