5 out of 5 eggsThis ram has been discontinued.

Pros: This ram has been discontinued / EOL (end-of-life). In talking with G-Skill, they said that I should be purchasing: F2-400CL4D-2GBPK (which is basically a revised version of this RAM.

Cons: None. I <3 this ram!

Other Thoughts: I hope the newer model RAM works as well as the older one.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great for overclocking Celerons!

Cons: Has vast compatibilty probems. Stay away from! Gskill Tech has provided poor support.

Other Thoughts: Works in my P5W DH only up to 365 MHz 1:1. Should be rated at PC2 5400.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with P5B deluxe

Pros: Works great with Asus P5B deluxe and e6300, overclocked to 3.45ghz with the memory at 860mhz, timings 4-4-3-10.
Won't go any lower, but I think that suffices.
Other says won't work with this setup, but they must be confused or something.

Cons: Computer didn't boot a few times when I was OC to 3.52ghz (memory 880). Just required that I shut off the power and on again. Then no problem.
Two times in one week the computer has frozen, but not sure what is to blame yet.

Other Thoughts: It's cheap. It's good. It does overclock. Why pay so much to have a nice brand name on it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Incredible price, fast speed, 2 GB.

Cons: I had to push really hard to get them to go into my mobo. Watching my mobo bend and flex while I tried to get these things in was one of the most frightening experiences of my life. Other than that, they're wonderful.

Other Thoughts: Definitely a good deal. You can't beat the performance for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsGskill 2gb ZX

Pros: Works as advertised, runs DDR2-800 very stable.

Cons: Very limited overclocking. Doesn't respond much to volts and doesn't have much headroom. This stuff comes binned to the max so don't expect much beyond stock.

Also major problems in 965P Chipset as mentioned. I got it to boot in a P5B-Deluxe by setting 2.1 Vdimm in BIOS using different ram, and then putting the ZX in. This ram WILL NOT boot in a p5B deluxe @ default bios settings! Even when i got it booted however, it had major problems.

Other Thoughts: Buy this to run stock only

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine on Asus P5WD2-PREMIUM

Pros: Although I have not pushed this set of RAM to 800 yet, I wanted to mention that it does work in an ASUS P5WD2-Premium running a D-805 processor. Not knowing if it would work I was concerned when I read in the mother board manual that the internal module memory chip configuration matters. But, it is OK.

Cons: None So far.

Other Thoughts: Never thought I'd ever have this much ram in one machine.

5 out of 5 eggs965 Chipsets: Read me

Pros: Fine on 975

Cons: Down

Other Thoughts: The 965 chipset has a confirmed issue in Bios (Specifically Gigabyte, others also) preventing some ram from working with them. Several Ram manufacturers have done testing to suppoer this. The issue lies in the fact that the boards are either; A) Setting the CL to 3, thereby disabling the ram, and/or B) Undervolting the ram. This can be fixed by popping in a cheap stick and manually setting all voltages and timings in Bios, then swapping the memory back in.
