We obviously don't recommend you subject your Voyager to such abuse, but it's good to know that it's up to the challenge of living at the bottom of your briefcase, purse, or desk drawer! The Flash Voyager USB 2.0 drive is stylish, compact, and reliable, so you know you can trust it with your MP3s, digital images, presentations and other critical data.
Fully Plug and Play with most operating systems and backward-compatible with USB 1.1.

Very useful product!
- Pros: High speed; EVEN WITH error-checking it's more than fast enough for Vista Boost feature. LOTS of storage room for all my IT utilities and media files. Protective coating is very substantial. Nice neck strap included. Worked as-is driverless on my PC and Mac. 10 YEAR WARRANTY from Corsair helped justify the expense Looking forward to loading a special ADMIN XP load on here for use on any PC or server I go to.
- Cons: Only negative so far to my mind is that the looped piece of rubber used to attach the drive to the neck strap should be reinforced, IMHO. This is minor, but noteworthy since 2 years into my 10 year warranty I dont want it breaking and making me lose the unit. And, of course, price could've been a little lower.
- Other Thoughts: Should come with a little ArmorAll cloth to keep it shiny!
Seriously... I was debating whether to wait and get this 16GB unit or get the 8GB unit, and I have to say I'm glad I waited and spent the extra money. I'll be using this for YEARS without needing to upgrade.
I wish the included neck strap was black instead of bright blue; I wound up using the neck strap from my work ID badge but I would have rather used the nice wide neck strap that came with this drive. Again... I know this is minor.
Packaging needs to be rethought into something more eco-friendly... and easier to open, for goodness sake!
Super-Solid
- Pros: Space and Speed. I must have lucked up and gotten one from a good batch, as it worked out of the package and the trasnfer rates were significantly better than my previous flash drives. 16GB the size of my pinky, that's good to have.
- Cons: I carry it in my pocket most of the time in southern heat and the casing is becoming ever so slightly gummy. I wonder how much longer it'll last under normal use. If I don't find a way to tie down the cap, I'll lose it. I wish they positioned the activity light so that it's visible from both sides.

- Pros: Great product
- Cons: Rebate is worthless. Took almost 15 minutes to figure out how to start the process. Figured out how to log on to website. Had to enter all personal info. Print out forms to submit by mail. Cut out UPS to tape on form. Print out copy of invoice. Attach to other forms. Do not even consider this rebate process - Buy this product only if you are not going to complete the rebate process.
Much slower than my other USB drives
- Pros: When I bought it the price/size ratio was pretty good. Don't know if that's still the case now that larger USB drives have come out.
- Cons: Slow, slow data transfer rates on multiple computers. Seems to work OK for a few small files, but during large data transfers the speed slows to a crawl. I should have listened to the other Newegg reviewers when they mentioned this problem. I didn't believe it was possible until I saw it in action.
Failed in less than 1 year
- Pros: The drive worked fine for 11 months.
- Cons: Fairly slow data transfer.
Drive failed 11 months after I bought it. Drive is not properly recognized by multiple systems. Cannot access any of my data.
- Other Thoughts: Starting RMA with Corsair. Will update with results.
