The Linkskey 52-in-1 card reader not only gives you fast, easy transfer of data between your flash media and computer, but between different kids of flash media, as well. The 4-slot reader is designed for easy installation in a 3.5" drive bay, and reads Compact Flash, Secure Digital, Multi-Media Card, SmartMedia, xD, and Sony Memory Stick media. It is USB storage class 1.0 compliant, and also reads T-Flash, miniSD, and RS-MMC media, with the optional adapter.

It supports slot-to-slot read/write functions, as well, so you don't need to upload to the computer before downloading to a second media card. Just fine and dandy
- Pros: Works on Vista 64bit as advertised. Windows detects it as a generic card reader device, and thus I haven't installed the manufactures drivers because I didn't feel the need to for my purposes. Reads and detects all of my cards fast and on the fly. I do notice a speed difference between different cards I use, but I think that more of a throughput issue of the flash cards than the card reader itself. No BSOD or compatibility issues so far. Believe it or not this unit seems has a better fit and finish and quality for some of the other card readers on the market I've seen out there, so I think its worth the extra couple of dollar to spend on this one personally.
- Cons: Same as everyone else, the persist green light in the front seems unnecessary even when the PC is powered off. Would be easy to cover-up though.
- Other Thoughts: I'm only using the device for copying over photos onto the PC. Using the card reader for me is vastly superior to copying over directly from my digicams in terms of speed and reliability. Noticed updated drivers on the Linkskey website from the ones on the CD packaged.
Easy Install
- Pros: Took up the hole left by by old floppy drive. Hooked up to my motherboard in less than 2 minutes. Comes with both black and beige faces.
- Cons: For some reason the rails on my tool free case did not match up with the screw holes on this unit. Had to do a bit of a mod on the rails to get it to clip in. Wish it had a rear cable so I could hook it up to one of my rear USB's instead of loosing the USB header for the case front, but this is trivial since it does have one USB plug.
- Other Thoughts: Have not used my floppy since I built this system. The reader took the place of the drive and the external card reader. Makes my desk look neater.

Green Light
- Pros: I have installed several of these over the past couple of years or so. It's the only one I'll buy. The older units will not read SDHC memory cards, but not really a problem for me. Readers I've purchased over the last year have no problem reading them. Other than that, they read all of the SD and CF cards that I have (the SDHC was borrowed).
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: Many have issues with the green light. I have had no issues with any Intel branded motherboards. I have had mixed results with the Asus boards that I presently use. My guess is that it has to do with power supplied to the USB when the computer is off. There may be a BIOS setting to fix that. It's no big deal for me, so I haven't tried to fix it. It has come in handy a few times when charging my phone or mp3 player at night with the PC off.

- Pros: NONE
- Cons: Does not read my CF cards
It works
- Pros: It works just fine reads cards well enough for my needs.
- Cons: It didn't fit the rails on my tooless case, so I had to modify the rails. Vista recognized it as a generic USB drive, but it didn't work like that had to install the drivers.
- Other Thoughts: I can see where the light on the front would be a con, but my case has a door that covers it so I don't notice it.
