Pros: Works great!
Large amount of space in a low profile design.
Fast enough for my purposes. Used as a home for a VMWare image running Vista 64 and it worked just fine.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Not as fast or large (capacity) as similarly priced 3.5" form factor externals, but I'd much rather have a couple of these babies kicking around in the backpack than full size drives.

I've had no issues so far. My first cavalry is the same series, but smaller. Both drives are still around and kicking.

Fast and tough

Pros: Small size, no need for external power, fast, great size. Didn't get hot after a lot of usage. Excellent plug and play storage and I assume I can upgrade the hard drive if needed.

Cons: Clip on plastic faceplate cannot withstand a fall to a wood floor after its clumsy owner knocks it off his desk. The faceplate is for appearance only.

Other Thoughts: Tough little unit. I accidentally knocked it off my desk and while the plastic facia broke, the unit survived. It was not plugged in at the time so maybe that was the reason why but the metal case held together. Fast and small. I bought it to initially transfer a bunch of files from an old laptop to a new one and then it will be a portable backup device. Highly recommended!
