Fujitsu takes their expertise in mobile solutions and turns it to portable storage devices. This 300GB hard drive is small enough to easily fit in your pocket or purse and has the USB 2.0 cord built in so you don't have to worry about forgetting it. The low-power drive gets its power from the bus so there is no need for an AC power supply.

- Pros: Great little drive (as expected, they've made great notebook drives for years). Nice and sturdy, makes a great "shuttle drive" to sent between clients and vendors, especially since there's no cables/adapters to get "lost" in transit.
- Cons: Not the quickest thing in the world, but that's to be expected on a 4200RPM USB drive...
- Other Thoughts: Runs just fine on one USB port. You only need to use two USB ports to power the drive up if you have low-power USB ports (commonly found on OLDER notebooks). Picking up a powered (AC adapter) USB hub *might* be a workaround to the power issue on older systems...
Great drive
- Pros: Integrated cable, small size, feels rugged, quiet, works great. I love the fact that this drive has an integrated cable! It folds up really nicely. Included is a standard USB extension if you want a longer cable.
I have had no problems using the single USB connector with any computer, although I'm only using Macs.
- Cons: Slow? I guess you have to give something up for all the other benefits. It's not too slow though, that's for sure. Also, I think I'd prefer it if it didn't have that shiny lacquered look, but that's a small detail.
- Other Thoughts: If you want an external, bus-powered drive, get this one. It's great!

Fujitsu 300gb usb drive
- Pros: size, price per mb and reliability.
- Cons: Short usb extension cable. It should have a 6" cable.
- Other Thoughts: For $50, it was a great deal for my D.J. client who wants to carry his mp3's anywhere he goes or any computer he needs. Unit is great and fast even on usb 1.1 connections.
Great portable device
- Pros: Great device, works well. Just bought a second one. The integrated USB cable makes this device very usable - no USB cables to remember
- Cons: The packaging is cool, but I dropped mine when opening it, as the drive isn't secured to the packaging - watch out!
- Other Thoughts: We use it in the lab to store data... Does it's job well

- Pros: Tiny form factor, USB powered, cheap, free shipping, 300GB
- Cons: A little slow
- Other Thoughts: As a PC Tech, I need lots of space for customer backups as well as for my own tools. This is the ticket for its small size and no power brick
