if you need a bus powered 250, buy this
- Pros: This hard drive is my third bus powered drive that goes with me everywhere and is my favorite. The port is still solid which is more than I can say for the others.
It travels well. There is a cover to prevent dust and such from getting into the port.
I use it for mp3s and mp4s and everything plays right from the drive with ease.
I use it strictly with a mac.
She never gets too hot.
This transfer rate compares to all of my other drives pretty well.
It is small sleek and can withstand traveling with a bachelor on a bicycle, daily, for five months.
If I never find a better drive relative to the tech age, I'll die a happy man.

The only connect is a mini usb, so don't forget your chord.
There is no case, so I hope you're delicate with it or get your crafty lady-friend (or man-friend) to make one for you.

Great Buy
- Pros: This drive is exactly what you are looking for if you want portability. It is small, slick, and light. I plugged in and was instantly recognized. Also, have used it to move from computer to computer with no issues.
- Cons: Its doesn't have some crazy light to distract me when its running.
- Other Thoughts: If your a gamer this runs games just fine, not quite as fast as SATA internal drive. But, just as fast as an IDE drive. Great for keeping your game settings if you play in different places.

GREAT BUY
- Pros: GREAT PRICE, FREE SHIPPING, i needed 2 of these for my work, and i was able to beat our corporate pricing on these hardrives from newegg!

Simplicity, Style, and a little Speed
- Pros: Convenient size for capacity. Sleek, fairly stylish, simple. It is hard to go wrong with no buttons and one port. Pretty fast compared to thrumb drives.
- Cons: Feels a little on the flimsy side. Outer case is all plastic. This drive is not ruggedized at all, so do not drop. The shiny finish is kind of easy to scratch or mar. I purchased a neoprene case for mine to protect it a bit.
- Other Thoughts: After reformatting for NTFS (which I do for all drives) I copied some files to check out read/write performance. A 1.4 GB video copied to the drive at about 25.5 MB/s and took around 55 seconds. Similar for copying from the drive.
65 files totaling 291 MB (the original contents of the drive like the sync software, etc) copies at about 13.2 taking about 22 seconds. Pretty good in the speed realm for USB 2.0.
Perhaps when USB 3.0 becomes mainstream, we will finally get SATA or better comparable transfers.
