Pros: Doesn't need external power connector. Small and compact. Good price for space.
Cons: USB cable that comes with drive is too short.
Other Thoughts: Besides the USB cable being only about 1 foot long, I have no real complaints here.

Pros: i wrote sumthin b4 but i thought of new important things n plus i got nuttin to do... lol
it got da free space measuring thingy even tho im not 100% surte how it works... lol
speed seems good... lol i did bout 200gb in lless den a hour...
Cons: costs a shytload more... ths costs 30 dollars more den da essential one... same color n size... everythin da same except diff models...
Other Thoughts: rlly fukn bored... lol n plus 2 4 stas = btr ocverall rating... lol

A little expensive, but it works

Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: When it works, it's wonderful- Good transfer speeds (20 MB/Sec with sequential 10 MB files), the case is nice and sturdy, doesn't require a power cord, the sliding USB cover is neat (I personally think the lights are useless), the USB cord fits snugly (It will fall off your desk and still hang on, saved me a time or two!)
Cons: After owning it for 7 months or so, it randomly stopped working in some of my systems. I'd be able to access 50 MB or so, and it would lock up. It turns out that there were "too many bad sectors" when I ran Data Lifeguard Diagnostics (failed at 0.7%). Good thing I had my data backed up! Also, if you put the USB cable in the "sock" with the drive, it will mark up the case.
Other Thoughts: The RMA'd drive I got works fine, but it isn't in the best condition. This drive is too expensive for what you actually get. The return process was confusing, but WD was fast to respond. Next time, I'll build my own external drive.
