Pros: This drive is fast, quiet, vibration free, with no noticeable increase in temperature from 5400 rpm drive it replaced. I downloaded Acronis True Image WD Edition from Western Digital web site, and was able to Clone my old drive in less than one hour.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Order this drive on Thursday at 10:30am and Newegg delivered it to my door by 4pm on Friday, with standard shipping. Great!!

Pros: A lot more storage to replace my 200GB HDD, quiet as a mouse, not too much of a temp increase.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: Installed in my 15" early 2008 MacBook Pro, and didn't realize Macs read in binary not base 10, so the drive space is actually only equal to 298GB on Macs. Not too much of a speed improvement over my 5400 rpm drive. When replacing in MBP please be careful of the keyboard ribbon! My keyboard and track pad no longer work because i broke the ribbon.

Fast, but not quite silent

Pros: I used this in my Thinkpad t61p and it undoubtedly improved the performance over the 7200rpm 100GB stock drive - this made Vista feel normal.
320GB (base 10) or 298GiB (base 2).

Cons: Some noticeable (mainly audible) vibration. The t61p is basically silent (fan included), which made this the noisiest component of the system - not a big deal - it sounds like a laptop fan running on low.
