Cons: When I initially bought this external hard drive I didn't realize that you could just copy and past files into it like a flash drive. When you plug it into the computer, its program WDSync comes up and it tries to get you to use it to syn files that way. The program is terrible it ruined many of my files and couldn't recopy them onto my new computer and it changed the format of many of them and lost some altogether. I had backed up my data again the normal way by copying and pasting but then after my computer crashed, it turned out I had only copied the shortcut to my documents. Then I was forced to used the program again to get to the stuff I had backed up before but it would work on my new computer. I had to move the files onto another computer and copy them back onto the hard drive (the normal way) and then copy onto my new computer. In this process, the hard drive corrupted, lost and changed a good percentage of my files.
Other Thoughts: This is a piece of junk. I lost many many files using the drive.

Rating: 5/5Good value
Pros: The passport drives are simple and well constructed. I get read speeds of 26 MB and writes at 19 MB, which is about all you can expect with USB 2.0
Cons: Would prefer to have the activity light on the opposite end as the cable, but no big deal.

Rating: 4/5Great Product
Pros: Worked perfect right out of the box. Comes formatted fat32. Formatted to NTFS (quick format) and using for system backup of my new MSI Wind U100 netbook. Very fast for a USB powered drive. Will also be buying the 320 gb. model soon...

Rating: 4/5Good, but...
Pros: Fast, works well...pretty color and its decently small
Cons: Comes formatted in FAT32 - so if you want to transfer large files you have to format it :/
Other Thoughts: Other than that it seems to work great
