Decent transfer speeds...
- Pros: Decent transfer speeds of up to 30 mb/s. Under load it hits 40c tops and doesn't tend to affect my games that much. Decent HD for such a good price.
- Cons: Can be loud at times. Cable's are large and annoying compared to SATA but if your looking for a cheap and effecient HD, this will do.
- Other Thoughts: MSI P45 Neo-F, Quad Core 9770, 3GB DDR2-667 (5300) RAM, MSI RX3870 Radeon HD, LITEON SATA DVD-ROM, LITEON SATA DVD+RW, Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA II (x2), Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA II, 3 1/2 Floppy, Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi (FATAL1TY Edition), 52 in 1 Media Reader.
- Pros: alwayz use wd hdds, cheap and it works
- Cons: i have wd fails on me, 3 but thats why i use mirroring to keep data safe..

drive knocking
- Pros: Drive seemed very fast. Running 2003 RC2 on it, good performance speed.
- Cons: Drive started knocking/clunking after just a few weeks. Going to remove the drive and replace it. Not sure if NewEgg will RMA it due to the fact that it still works. I certainly wouldn't rely on this hard drive to maintain more than daily information without a backup.
- Other Thoughts: Very disappointed.
